Not sure what to say. We stayed here overnight while passing through. We asked for a late check-in and it seemed like ownership didn't understand what that was. No info was laid out for us. We were not given any bathroom codes or wifi codes. They just took our info and gave us our site info via phone. Site was somewhat unlevel. All gravel. Park was unkempt with many older motorhomes and long-timers. We did not use facilities because we could not get in them. Didn't have wifi password so we couldn't use it either. Picnic table had spray paint all over it like it was a work bench for an artist. Overall, I am glad it was a quick stop. Next time however, I would go a few farther miles down the road and stay somewhere else.

We stayed here for about a week over spring break. I can't really find anything bad about the place. All concrete pads. Sites are level. Easy access maneuvering about the campground. Sights are enormous and many already come with covered sinks and picnic tables. This is not a campground but truly a resort. Pools were immaculate. Hot tub clean. Bathrooms were spotless. There is a requirement on Motorhome age and size so be wary of that. Wifi was excellent. Campground is 6 miles out of town. You can access town via a beach road or highway. Access to the beach was easy. By far, one of the nicest, if not the nicest, campground I have stayed at. Only complaint I can make is that sight 701 is near the office and a higher traffic area. Had to corral kids out of the road very often. Beach is huge and not maintained near the campground. You can drive on the beach however and even have beach campfires if you wish. The beaches that are maintained are closer to town but accessible as well if you take the golf cart ride that way. Loved this place. I would highly recommend this campground. It is well worth the price and I would suspect that as this area builds up, the price will go up with it.

Stayed overnight passing through the area. Easy access off the interstate. Park seemed very full. Many long timers who worked in the area stay here. Park manager was very helpful in escorting us to our spot and even helping with the hook-ups. It was a level sight with easy access through the campground, even with a tow. Park and facilities were very clean despite the projects they had been working on. Wifi was easy to use and open. I had several concerns about the campground and would give it a 10 if it were not for these small worries. I made reservations months in advance (it was spring break). During that time, I included that I would be arriving late. There was no email confirmation sent, nor any follow-up phone calls. When I finally made it to the campground, they had no idea that we were coming in. Our spot was so level because it was a car port with full hook-ups. I think management simply forgot our reservation, but did go out of their way to make up for it. There was no receipt given nor maps. But this seemed inconsequential because of the campground tour they gave us. Campground staff was also very quick to mention that we were the only campers with kids and they needed to be quiet. Despite these small concerns, campground staff easily accounted for the negatives with their personality, helpfulness and positive attitude. I would come back again.

We camped here overnight on a trip down south. Easy access off the interstate. Sites were level and it was easy to maneuver in and out of the campground with a tow. We were a late arrival and accommodations, maps and information was all provided to us out front in the drop box. We used the facilities and they were adequate and clean. We left early in the morning and navigating out of the park was easy. Overall, definitely a nice overnight stop. It may be a little pricey for just an overnight stop, but it worked out well. We would stay again if passing through the area.

Stayed while visiting a child attending ISU. Nearest campground to Normal. 15 minute drive into town. Keep that in mind because there is nothing else around. Conveniently located off interstate 74. Significant downside is the interstate noise. It is loud. Campground overall was very well maintained. Grass and shrubbery all neatly cut. Sites were gravel and all were level. Facilities were very clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly. There is not much to do at the campground in terms of activities or playgrounds. There is a pool that appeared well kept and clean. WiFi was actually half way decent. Only other complaint besides the interstate noise I had was the extra charge for kids. I had 4 kids with me and they charged extra for 2 of them. Not a big deal if there were things to do for them, but the only thing they had was a swingset and open field. Why the extra cost? Not a real destination campground, but I would stay again because it is near Illinois State and it is clean and a well cared for campground. I would also stay if passing through the area.

Stayed overnight while passing through. Easy to access of interstate. Shopping and restaurants nearby. Cabins on site. Sites were level with all the necessary hook-ups. Gravel sites. Pull-throughs were easy to access and maneuver. Staff was friendly and courteous. Facilities were all clean. We did not use any of the extras. Seemed a bit pricey, but the campground was well maintained and clean. We would stay here again if visiting the area.

Park was centrally located near Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs. Near lots of attractions which was nice. A little tricky getting in and out of for a big rig with a tow, but doable. Downside about location is that it seems to be in the heart of marijuana central. Many dispensaries nearby. Can smell the weed nightly throughout the park. I am not sure if this is a campground phenomena or a Colorado issue, but it was off-putting to us. The sites were not terribly level. Neighbors sewer, water and electric run through your site as well. Sometimes downwind this smelled too. Sites were all gravel. No firepits but picnic table included. Despite the average sites, the view was spectacular. Staff was generally nice. There was one staff member that was grouchy and even asked my 17 year old daughter if she 'smoked'. Facilities were just ok. Seemed that the nicer shower house was always closed for cleaning. Bathhouses were average, but high use so I was not expecting much. WIFI was nonexistent, also not a surprise with the high numbers of users. There was a nice park and two pools for the kids. But with all the outdoor activities nearby, we did not utilize them much. There was dinner and breakfast served on various days at the campground. It looked delicious, but we never tried it out. We were too busy sightseeing. Overall, the campground's highlight is the location. Tons to do in the area. I would consider staying again, but may look elsewhere first and use this place as a fall back option.

Stayed for one night passing through. That is about all you can do here. Easy access. Across street from Colorado welcome center. Interstate noise was minimal. Area is sparsely populated as mentioned in other reviews, so do not expect much. There is a store on site but it was never open during our stay. Upon our arrival (in the middle of the day) the office and store was locked and empty. The manager (nice guy) dropped by several hours later after we chose our own spot and said "That's how we do it around here! Just pick your own spot." Sites were dirt/grass and level. Hook-ups were fine. There are very few spaces at this campground and not all have 50 amp, so you are very limited on site selection. It's an open field with some hookups arrayed in a u-shaped pattern. There is no shade and on a Colorado summer day it became quite warm. Despite this, there was plenty of room and the kids had a great time with open fields and grass to run around in. WiFi was listed, but we were never given a code nor used it. There are no facilities to use. No pools or playgrounds. The welcome center across the street had 24-hour restroom access which I found easy enough to use. I felt it was a bit pricey for what you got here. But that being said, there was some attraction to being out in the middle of nowhere with hardly anyone around. I would stay again, my family probably would not.

Easy to get to campground. I would use for overnight stay only. Located close to interstate. Highway noise is present but not bothersome for us. The site was level and had all the necessary hook-ups. There is a water key required to access your site spigot. You receive this at check-in. Not a problem for us. Facilities were clean but worn and in need of serious updating. We used them as quickly as we could and got out. Lots of bugs. The campground has no pool or activities for kids but we were not interested anyway. If I were in the area I would stay for overnight last resort purposes only. Truthfully, I would rather not stay again and would keep driving in search of something a little better.

Overall very satisfied with this park. Staff was generally friendly except for a couple of people working the pool area. Sites were great. Layout of the campground was ideal. Very level and spacious. Nearby river offered plenty of activities. Tubing was fun. Beach and pool were well maintained and the kids loved both. Mini golf was a well maintained course, but cost extra. Camp store had the bare minimum. Nearest store of any significance is 20 minutes away, so bring what you need. Several minor details to keep in mind. 1) Campground was difficult to find. Signage was not easily visible, with grass and weeds covering most of the sign and GPS was not helpful. Trying to find it in a downpour in a big rig with a tow in farm fields was challenging. Office staff was not answering phones to guide us in. 2) Shower houses, although clean, were limited. There are only two for the entire camp with one toilet and several showers in each. Plan ahead if you have to use it! Its a hike! 3) Advertised WiFi was essentially non-existent from our site. Didn't bother us, but be aware. Despite these inconveniences, we would definitely stay again. Perfect for a long weekend away with the kids.

We stayed here overnite while passing through the area. Extremely clean campground with immaculate facilities. Not far off interstate and ideal for big rigs. Did not use wifi or pool. This would be a nice campground if you were visiting the area or stopping overnite. There is not much to do at the campground itself. My only complaint was that our water was shut off because of the cold. We were allowed to fill our tanks only. Staff took it upon themselves to disconnect our hose rather than ask.

My family and I stayed here while visiting the Tampa area. Staff was courteous. There were three of us in a caravan and all our sites were kept close together. Easy in and out for big rigs with tow. Campground was immaculate. Well maintained, facities were spotless. WiFi was excellent. Many activities listed for adults, but not many things to do for kids. Pool was clean. Sites were level. The 'premier' sites are nice but come with relatively little shade. We preferred the regular sites.

Stayed here overnight while passing through northern Georgia on I-75. No interstate noise. Lots of trees on the premises which at first appeared to be a daunting task, driving a big rig with tow through the campground. It turned out to be relatively easy. Bathrooms were clean but old an in serious need of updating. We arrived late and left early so we did not use any other facilities. My biggest concern with this campground was the unlevel ground. We were in a row of motorhomes that were all up on jacks with multiple tires completely off the ground. It is not bad for an overnight stay, and I would consider staying again, but only for one quick overnight stop.

We stayed here over a holiday weekend. Had a great time. Plenty to do with the river and organized activities. Kids had a blast. Sites were spacious. Plenty of trees. Pool and bath facilities were clean. Many seasonals, but people were all friendly. There were no pull-through sites available which can be a challenge here for big rigs. We did not use Wi-Fi. Campground is tucked away in the countryside but is not hard to get to. The only difficulty we had was leveling our RV. All sites around us were very unlevel. Even with manual jacks, it was impossible. Our site was located in the back and away from the river on hilly ground. It appeared to me that the sites near the river did not have this problem. Either way, our family enjoyed this campground and will definitely return again. We would try for a site closer to the river next time to avoid the unlevel ground.

Stayed here one night passing through the area. The owners were terrific. There does not appear to be much to do, but the ease of access from the interstate makes it ideal for an overnight stay. Sites are fairly level and all gravel. Mostly pull-though sites. Easy in and out. We did not use the facilities or the Wi-Fi. We will stay again if passing through the area.
