Jantzen Beach RV Park, Portland, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We only stayed here one night but we were impressed with the facilities, maintenance and cleanliness. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside was Wi-fFi was intermittent during the evening. Yes, there is some noise. You do hear the odd airplane, train or boat whistle, but it is in the heart of the city. We were able to cycle on nice, well-signed bike paths from the RV Park to the Max (light rail line) and travel quickly into the downtown where there are numerous bike friendly streets and a nice waterfront route. You can buy an all day transit ticket for $5 and the trains have bike hangers on board. We camped at Jantzen Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Winchester Bay RV Resort, Winchester Bay, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. Sites are nicely landscaped but might feel crowded in peak season. Washrooms and laundry very well laid out and spotless. Nice new activity center with huge screen TV and community natural gas fire pit. You can easily walk to nearby restaurants. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.
