This is an OK KOA. Staff very friendly, park clean, nice dog park. The front sites are nice but were full when we got there so we had the area in the back around the dog park. Road is kind of narrow in back area so makes a big rig hard to pull out of if the people in front of you didn't pull up enough but it can be done. We would stay here again

Positive things first. Really friendly owners, clean campground, easy for big rigs. Now the negative. Sites are not level at all. I think if the hookups were not at the back of the sites you might could get level. Everyone that was in the campground in an RV had the front end off the ground. Fire ants are horrible! You can see the beds OK but if it has rained they are all in the grass so you can't see them! Can't tell you how many times I was stung. Most of the picnic tables are in bad shape. I guess if you were only spending the nite and leaving early it would be OK but I won't stay again.

Very nice campground. We paid the extra for the pull thru site that had concrete patio with furniture and nice fire pit. Very friendly staff, easy to find. Nice dog park. There were some trees and shade around the other section of the campground. Cable worked good. We would stay here again

Lots of trees in the campground but we did get satellite signal. Sites had OK room between them. Try to get one on the front roll where you can sit at your campsite and watch the train come thru. Pretty level but nothing fancy campground. We would stay here again

Nice campground. Clean, neat and friendly staff. Sites are very close together but all the campgrounds in the area are. We had a back in site and had to park our car beside our RV which took up over half the site. Water pressure is good. Our campsite was nice pea gravel type stuff while some were red dusty dirt which got all over our dogs and created a mess, but that's OK. They did have a dog park otherwise not many places for you dogs to potty. We would choose this campground again. Oh, be sure to use the directions on the web site or you turn into a residential section. Park is close to lots of things.

I am not impressed. We had a pull-through and could not get level without putting 2 boards under our tires. The pull-through sites are also in the wide open area. They are long, but that's it. Wi-Fi in this area is poor. The area for smaller rigs was very nice with shade and trees. Don't think I would stay again.

This was really a nice KOA. Sites were level and good size. Staff friendly, park clean, very nice dog park. We did not use the pool, but it looked nice. They had breakfast Thursday-Sunday but we did not eat there. For this to be such a big park it was very quiet at night. We did take the city bus to the Riverwalk and thats the way to travel. We would stay again.

This park was OK. It seemed to be in a bad area, but we never felt unsafe. The concrete pad was nice. Some have shade; others do not. Ours did not so it was a little hot, but level. Wish they had grills and or fire pit. Plently of room between sites. Kind of strange having houses inside the park, but I guess they rent those. Staff reall friendly! We did not let them take us to town because we felt we did not want to stay that long. We would stay here again.

It is easy to get to, close to Sams and Bass Pro Shop and the staff is really friendly! Yes, the interior roads do need work, but I have seen worse. Our pad had major cracks in concrete so we had to park for the jacks accordingly; our site barely had room for the slides to be out and walk between ours and the one next to us; your table sits almost in the front of the person parked next to you. Oh they do have a really nice dog park and there is some pretty shade for walking. Over night stop is OK, but I would not want to stay any longer than that.

Nice campground. Shame you can't reserve a site because if you're in a big rig you may not be able to find a spot sometimes. We saw tents where large RV's should have been. We couldn't get satellite where we were but did get some local channels. Fairly level spots, pretty large. They are working on some sites so some areas were closed. Very nice walking area. Saw deer one morning at our campsite. We would stay here again.

This was by far one of our favorites! Beautiful shade trees and pretty private. Short walk to the river with sandy beaches. We did not stay in the beach area; we were in the river area. Beware...if you have a toad, unhook before you leave the office. We have a 40 foot and there are some low hanging trees and tight turns so pay attention when driving into the campground and parking. Would return to this park!

We loved this KOA. Staff were very friendly! Spend the extra money to get the lake side. Nice dog run and cute homemade lake. Enjoyed watching some strange bird swim underwater. Some good shade. The reason I did not give it a 10 is because the site we were in was pretty cramped if you have slides, which we do, and could be a little more level. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Be sure to eat at the Italian restaurant in walking distance! Great scallops!

Arrived here around 1:00pm on Friday and headed to west rim campground. There was a lot of empty sites but they already had name tags on them. Was told you couldn't hold a site, so I didn't understand that. Very few sites in the east or west rim that a 40' motorhome would fit in. Found one that was pretty unlevel but it worked. Would not want to get here after dark. West rim was nice and woodsy and the east rim was more like a park and also close to the day use area. I would suggest to unhook your toad before you head up the mountain, because it is steep! I did like the campground and would go back again! Next time I might come on Thursday and try to find a little better site, as I said for bigger rigs they are few and far between.

First let me start by saying it is true about the owner flying around in his golf cart wide open! There is a speed limit but not for him. I guess it wouldn't be so bad but the road is dirt so he stirs up a lot of dust!! Yep you have to have your fire out at 11 which I can live with. The Wi-Fi is a joke unless you stand very close to the building. For the park to be so big and empty (except for the few full time units) he puts you close together. It is close to town so I probably would stay here again.

Paved sites that you back into due to hookups at the very back of the sites so no view from inside you coach. Pretty level, had a covered picnic area at your site. The strange thing: if you are here for 1 night, you get on the lower level right on the water (better sites). If you are here more than 1 night, you get on the upper level overlooking the units below you, kind of strange. Overall it's a pretty good site with views across the water.
