Munising Tourist Park Campground, Munising, Michigan

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

One of the prettiest sites we have ever camped at! I would have given it a 10 but if you get the full hookup sites on the lake you have to back in if your in a motorhome (due to hookup location) so you can't see out the front of your vehicle. BUT you are right on the water with a camp fire ring, a beautiful beach to walk on with lots of pretty rocks and some of the most beautiful sunsets! Really enjoyed it! Be sure to stay here. We camped at Munising Tourist Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Lakeshore Park Campground, Saint Ignace, Michigan

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $33.00

It is a pretty campsite. Some of the sites have blocked views of the water due to brush on the other side of the road. Some do have water view sites. Pretty level sites and friendly folks. I would stay here again. We camped at Lakeshore Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Holiday Park Campground, Traverse City, Michigan

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

I gave this campground a 6 because when you pull in you see all these beautiful sites surrounded by trees with some being on the lake. But if you have a larger motorhome they put you in an open gravel field area which looks nothing like the rest of the campground. Looks like a lot of people stay there year round. If you don't mind being in an open area with no shade then it's OK. I would not stay again just because of the parking lot feel. We camped at Holiday Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Prophetstown State Park, West Lafayette, Indiana

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the most beautiful campgrounds we have ever stayed at. The sites were level, there were cypress trees between sites so you had privacy. We were in the full hook up area. I think the non-full hook up area was more of an open field. The site was huge and had a fire ring. I can't remember the exact price we paid but I think my estimate is close. We loved it and would stay again. We camped at Prophetstown State Park in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp-Resort at Raintree Lake, Scottsburg, Indiana

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Loved this campground. We do not have kids and were traveling home. Chose this campground based on reviews. They were having trick or treat this night and it was so much fun watching all the kids and decorations! The only problem I have with the park is that the sites are close together. If you have slides you barely have room to sit outside. Would stay here again when passing through. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp-Resort at Raintree Lake in a Motorhome.
