Date of Stay:

We stayed here during the Mule Days in Bishop. Grassy sites, pretty level, water and 30 amp electric, with no sewer, rigs need to be self contained . Pump truck is available for a fee.

Date of Stay:

Minimal shade and approaching from the South, one must make a U-turn and then enter. For TV, you had to put a deposit on a box. Not the fault of the hosts but the cable company. Close spacing but doable.

This is our preferred stop in the Ely area. Friendly hosts, clean sites although can be dusty at times. Television now is by air instead of cable but we did not attempt this. We will stay here again.

When traveling to Oregon, this is a must stop for us. We really like the park and the staff. Wide and long concrete pads.

Date of Stay:

We made weekly reservations (for my brother and his rig and ours) several months in advance but upon arrival, the sites were occupied by part of a group that stayed extra days. They put us in temp sites with all the amenities but it was disappointing to say the least. Fortunately, we are adaptable. A lot of long term residents.

Date of Stay:

A little noisy being next to the Pilot truck stop but we were able to sleep, so not a big deal. We liked it well enough to stay on our return trip. A good overnight spot but not a destination. A lot of long term rigs but still spaces available.

A good overnight stop for us. Gravel and dirt, but it was adequate. Would have liked to have stayed hooked to the truck but, the 30 amp site was too short. No matter, we will stay here again.

A nice quiet park with very little highway traffic noise. Close to the Cumbres & Toltec Railroad. We will stay here again.

Date of Stay:

Stayed here 3 nights visiting the Durango & Silverton Railroad. Trains pass through the campground and this feature was why we chose to stay here.

This is our second year staying at the park while attending the Draft Horse Classic. It can be muddy in spots after a rain storm, but we will definitely be back again.

Stayed here again on our trip returning home. Always good service, escorted to your site, quiet and minimal highway noise.

Date of Stay:

Good for an overnight, but not to much in the area except the Calico Ghost town. It is the desert, so expect hot and dry conditions.

Date of Stay:

We stayed just the one night, but friendly staff and adequate space at the sites.

We stay here every time we pass through this area. Great park. It is always neat, clean and has inviting and super friendly staff.

We stayed here twice on out trip, outbound and coming home. We will stay here again in the future. Neat, clean and friendly staff.
