Bryce Zion Campground, Glendale, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $32.00

Stayed here to visit Bryce Canyon. It is an older KOA but kept up. Friendly staff, wonderful scenery and friendly horses who loved our carrots. Sites were a little unlevel, front to back, but doable. We camped at Bryce Zion Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We had thunderstorms the 3 days we stayed here. A pop-up canopy is strongly suggested for eating out doors.

Kaibab CampeRVillage, Jacob Lake, Arizona

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Good experience and the staff was friendly and helpful. Site backed up to a logging road but did not notice any noise. Forest smells were a welcome change from city suburbs living. The daily thunderstorms were a pleasant change from the hot dry conditions at home. I would stay here again. We camped at Kaibab CampeRVillage in a Fifth Wheel.

Camp-N-Town, Carson City, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Minimal shade and approaching from the South, one must make a U-turn and then enter. For TV, you had to put a deposit on a box. Not the fault of the hosts but the cable company. Close spacing but doable. We camped at Camp-N-Town in a Fifth Wheel.

Ely KOA, Ely, Nevada

This is our preferred stop in the Ely area. Friendly hosts, clean sites although can be dusty at times. Television now is by air instead of cable but we did not attempt this. We will stay here again. We camped at Ely KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

When traveling to Oregon, this is a must stop for us. We really like the park and the staff. Wide and long concrete pads. We camped at Mountain Home RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Knox Butte RV Park, Albany, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We made weekly reservations (for my brother and his rig and ours) several months in advance but upon arrival, the sites were occupied by part of a group that stayed extra days. They put us in temp sites with all the amenities but it was disappointing to say the least. Fortunately, we are adaptable. A lot of long term residents. We camped at Knox Butte RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Pilot RV Park, Stanfield, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

A little noisy being next to the Pilot truck stop but we were able to sleep, so not a big deal. We liked it well enough to stay on our return trip. A good overnight spot but not a destination. A lot of long term rigs but still spaces available. We camped at Pilot RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Archview RV Resort & Campground, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $37.00

A good overnight stop for us. Gravel and dirt, but it was adequate. Would have liked to have stayed hooked to the truck but, the 30 amp site was too short. No matter, we will stay here again. We camped at Archview RV Resort & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Good for an overnight, but not to much in the area except the Calico Ghost town. It is the desert, so expect hot and dry conditions. We camped at Barstow / Calico KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
