We camped in a motorhome while visiting Mt. Dora. The campground was nice in that with a big rig we could basically make the turns and the pull thru site was ample to accommodate our tow vehicle. Concrete patio and nice swing/glider and grill. The pad for the rv was gravel. They had a nice dog park fenced in. We didn't use the pool or showers but they really keep the areas nicely cleaned up and maintained. My real complaint was that we were right on a very busy highway which was extremely noisy. You could hear a clickety clack sound for every car. Of course this was not the fault of the campground but it was disturbing and there was an airport close by. I guess I will check these concerns next time I pick a campground. There was also a funny chemical smell for part of the time as this is in an industrial area. Too bad they can't pick it up and move it to one of the pretty lakes in the area. I guess these two factors would prevent me from staying here again. Nice people though.

This campground is now called Crossing Creeks. It was bought by a group that owns RV resorts in Fl. They are making many improvements and really turning it into a resort. The buildings are all done and are log cabin type structures with a spa/fitness, activity/event building, office, laundry, and poolhouse. The sites are level, concrete pads-nice and long and wide. Some are owned and some are rented as in other resorts. It is a beautiful area right in the mountains with gorgeous views. It is a couple miles from a small town for shopping and other services. The lady in the office is super and very helpful with everything. It is definitely more of a resort feel than a campground. We are considering going there for a month maybe in the summer. The people that are more semi-full timers that live there part of the year are very friendly and invited us to participate in activities-pickleball, potluck dinner and craft and yoga classes which are all free. Once the company gets everything set up it will be a very desirable place to stay. They are creating more sites and will be doing more for phase 2.

This was a great small park for a couple days stay in the area. The spot we had was large enough and even though we were semi-close to others it didn't feel like it because of they way they had the landscaping and terracing. The owners are really nice and it was very quiet there. The dog park was really small, but the location was good for us to get on and off the interstate to visit friends. There were some rv's and travel trailers that were there semi-permanently but they were fine and didn't detract from the appearance of the park. Owner was very friendly and helped others in our vicinity with some issues. Overall it was very pleasant.

This was a very nice, large park to stay at while we were visiting our family a couple miles away. The site was large and you didn't feel like you were on top of the next person. It was flat and level. No problem getting in and out. The dog park was large and close by. There are seasonal sites also but they were farther away in a different section. It is really spread out. They had two ponds-one of them had a dock that was in bad shape but we don't fish anyway. The pool looked ok but again we didn't really use the amenities much. We just appreciated a nice place to stay so close to our son's house. Wish we could say the same about the Chicago and Milwaukee areas!!

Excellent overnight spot while traveling or staying in area. This is one of the nicest parks we have stayed at. Very easy to get on and off freeway and in and out of large pull thru spots. The owners are super and very efficient. They take good care of the park and provide great amenities. It is perfect for us and very well cared for. We look forward to staying here on our way up north and coming back.

This is an excellent park to stop at overnight or stay at while seeing the area attractions. The only thing it is missing is a pool but we don't use it anyway. We appreciate the easy on and off and also the easy getting into the nice level spots for big rigs towing. We always stay here on the way up north or coming back. The owners really take good care of this park and there are great amenities, very clean, and attractive. Our dogs enjoy the large dog park also. One of the best!!

This was a great park for big rigs. It is huge and has many nice, level spots that are easy to get in and out of and spacious. It was an open area but had pine trees on it also. The staff was friendly, and easy to work with. We didn't use their amenities because we were visiting relatives but I am sure they were first class. I would stay here for longer if we needed to. It is located right off the highway but you don't really hear the noise.

We stayed here in August so it wasn't crowded. We had trouble getting a good site because the grass ones were soggy from the rain and when we switched to a concrete pad which aren't usually given to overnighters it had a slope and we had trouble leveling. Also it wasn't really long enough because we were towing. It was a typical park that had some seasonal units and we were out in an open area. The pool looked nice but we didn't use it this time. I would say this was an ok place to stay overnight but not sure I would want to spend a week there. The staff was nice in letting us choose another site.

Really big sites. You don't feel like you are on top of everyone. Very friendly staff. Easy to maneuver our 37 ft. Coach. No tree problems. Good wifi. We did have a pull through site long enough to accept our tow. Dog park area. Quiet. One of the best parks we have stayed in. No run down seasonal permanent trailers!!! Would definitely come back.

We would not stay here again. The location was good right off I-75 but it was extremely squished and difficult to maneuver around. They had as many rv's as they could in there. There were many that looked like they had been there forever and I wondered if people lived in them full time. They were falling apart. The dog area was a joke and there was barely any room for the dogs to go to the bathroom. Sites were sand/dirt. TV and internet were bad. Not a good scene at all.

This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have ever stayed in. You can really tell the attention to detail and organization of the owners. It is the little amenities that really make it stand out. The sites are long and level and easy to get in and out of with our 37' motorhome towing a car. Gravel with concrete under picnic table. Everything is within easy walking distance. They even have a camper lounge with TV, etc. in case you want to get out of your RV. Very nice pool and hot tub and several places for our dogs to be. We did not use the restrooms as we had our own but my guess would be that they are clean. The people who run it are very nice and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again. It is right off I-75 conveniently located south of Macon.

We stayed here overnight. I have lived in Peoria all my life and never knew this place existed. It is very large, clean and spacious. Very nice grounds-nice level sites. There are some seasonal sites apart from the overnight ones. They are very well kept. Nice dog walk area. Owners were friendly. The only issue we had was the entrance to the campground has a huge bump which really did a number on the RV and the speed bumps are overkill. Otherwise we would definitely stay here again.

This is a very nice campground with many activities for families with kids. The gravel/dirt/grass sites are spacious and you don't feel squished in. Some of the tree branches need to be trimmed but it was basically maneuverable with our 37' motorhome. Our kids' families stayed in the cabins very close by. They were nice and luckily had a/c. It was very hot and humid. The amenities included a snack bar, a nice pool, a pond and games and go karts, playground, etc. They had a man come in on Sat. and gave a really cool talk about reptiles showing many different varieties. Very interesting. Staff was friendly and we all had a good time at nearby Circus World and at the campground. There is a pizza buffet nearby. They also have a nice dog park area very close to the campsites. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice, neat campground. Turns were a bit tight for our RV and sites were too close together but the setting was nice-trees, shade. We only were there for the night so didn't really use the amenities much. TV and WiFi not good as in most campgrounds today. Staff was pleasant. We would stay here again and maybe ask for a bigger site.

We have stayed here 4 times en route to and from Fl. Excellent small park. Easy on and off I-65. Lots to do in the area. Very big rig friendly-all sites are pull thru. There is a train nearby but it only comes by once or twice a day. Not a problem. Very nice and organized people run this park. Our dogs especially enjoy the fenced in doggie area! (This park does not have much for kids to do, but there are lots of family activities in the area including several caves.)
