Jugtown Mountain Campsites, Asbury, New Jersey

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Be alert as you approach. It appears many have made a u-turn to get into the area. Our site was not level and was full of bugs at night. The dump station was on a slant and we were unable to use it - back in. Much traffic noise all night. The staff was helpful, the office and parts area very utilitarian. We camped at Jugtown Mountain Campsites in a Tent Trailer.

Wolfie's Campground, Zanesville, Ohio

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed a good evening This location is up quite an inclined paved road. Also, there is a train that goes nearby with whistle blowing at various times of day and night. The pull-through sites are very spacious, level, gravel and overlooking a beautiful meadow. Very efficient staff that was eager to help us find our way to local attractions. We stayed only one night because we have a destination and time schedule. We camped at Wolfie's Campground in a Motorhome.

Harrisburg East Campground, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We did not use any of the facilities(shower, pool)as they were closed due to the season. The office was extremely efficient and helpful in showing us to our site. We were on a very level gravel pull through and easy to access. Highway noise was present throughout the day and night. We had a very nice visit with the campground hosts while walking the park together; they were extremely gracious. We camped at Harrisburg East Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Walnut Ridge RV Park, New Castle, Indiana

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here two nights due to weather. Closing on the 14th for the season. Beautifully kept area inside and out. Showers were not new but very clean and well maintained. We appear to be the only ones left here that are not full time. Staff is most helpful and has a wonderful supply of tools if you forgot your saw, etc. I agree that the dump station is a strange spot on the way out. Easy access, cement pads for pull through, friendly, and even they escorted us to our site. I would return. We camped at Walnut Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.
