Date of Stay:

Easy on/off the Natchez Trace. Lots of room. Friendly staff. Can't beat it for an overnight stop.

Date of Stay:

Spacious sites and easy to get into, but not very level. Bathrooms (2) were filthy and showers (2) weren't much better. Had to get rid of a wasps nest in one. Hard to find the place using a GPS. Pool was closed with some sort of problem.

Date of Stay:

Lots of room and very friendly, helpful people. It's a great place if you're a golfer (green fees included). They need to cut the grass. Maybe it was the wrong time of the year, but we were overwhelmed with gnats.

Date of Stay:

Lots of room. Gravel pads, but they should have used crushed gravel.

Always nice stopping here for an overnight. Easy access off interstate. Large, level sites.

Sites were a little tight. Cable was poor. Easy access off I-65. Staff was friendly and helpful. Stay was satisfactory.

In 10 years of travel this is one of the nicest places we have stayed. The staff were the most friendly, helpful people we've met. Guide you to your site and give you a booklet showing everything you need to know about the area including directions to Shiloh Nat'l Military Park. Everything was neat, clean and top notch. I only wish more campgrounds would operate like this.

Level, close back in sites. Friendly owner. Very near Pres. Truman stuff. Very noisy trains nearby. Can't complain because it was very close to where my son lives.

Bare bones little place to over night. Friendly owner. Can't complain about it. Nice level, gravel pull thru.

I wouldn't call this a resort. Sites were crowded and not very level. Bath and showers were clean, but they need more of them. In a very nice area with plenty of facilities available (food, shopping, fuel). Everything is wooded, so there is plenty of shade.

Nice level pull thru. Friendly helpful staff. Bus stop right across the street to take into downtown San Antone where parking would be at a premium if you had to take a truck. Just down the road to Mission San Jose which is a Nat. Park site. Bath and showers are nice, but they need more of them. Not sure if it really deserves a resort rating.

Very nice park with friendly staff and free continental breakfast. Appreciate the nice pool on those 90+ days. Bath and showers were nice, but they need more of them.

Really nice CG. Very long, level pull thru. Free coffee and muffins in the morning. Short distance to Petrified Nat. Forest which is a must see.

Really nice campground. Nice level pull thru. Only warning I would have is for people with pets and small children. There are "wild" animals that roam through the campground. We had 3 bull elk with huge racks just mosey thru, eating grass and leaves right next to our campers. It's nice for close up photos, but remember, they are wild not tame animals.

They may have 140 sites, but only about 10 are available. The rest are oil field workers. We were forced to pay the 50 amp price when we only needed 30 amps. Fairly noisy at 5:30 in the morning with all the diesel trucks leaving for work. Don't bother staying here. There is a very nice CG right by the entrance to Carlsbad Caverns.
