We really enjoyed this place. Everything was bright and clean. Campsites were level, well drained (a night-time rainstorm did not turn everything to mud!), and spacious (did not have to worry when opening our slides). It had a very pretty Southwest landscaping and "feel". Hot tub was a real bonus, and one we did not encounter in very many RV parks on our 6-week trip cross-country. The store was well stocked, and we bought numerous souvenirs at great prices. A real treat was the Cafe in the store. They served dinner and breakfast at great prices. The owners were friendly and helpful and we loved chatting with them and learning a little local lore. This place was a standout, and we will definitely visit again when traveling Route 66!

This campground had a very "plantation" feel--huge oaks, Spanish moss, lots of trees. We were pleasantly surprised for an RV park in such an urban environment. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed all the sights of Charleston and local plantations and historic sites. The campground staff were friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable, right down to a delightful referral to a local restaurant with a breakfast buffet that was a real southern feast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to any RVers wanting to enjoy the Charleston area.
