Elks Lodge #829 (Members Only), St Augustine, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Very convenient location close to town, the state park, within walking distance to the lighthouse. Nice back-in sites behind the Lodge. Cost was very reasonable for being so close to St. Augustine historical sites. They don't take reservations. Would stay here again. We camped at Elks Lodge #829 (Members Only) in a Motorhome.

Riverbend RV Park, Lake Toxaway, North Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Curvy road getting there but campground was in a beautiful setting. Covered patio with big screen TV and fireplace used every night for friendly gatherings. Hosts kept the whole area clean every day. Mix of return visitors and first timers like us. We camped at Riverbend RV Park in a Motorhome.

We didn't realize Moab would be so busy. Didn't have reservations so we used overflow with electricity for most of our stay. Office staff was friendly and accommodating. A bit dusty and one of 2 washers broken. Will return one day. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Motorhome.

Arizona Maverik RV Park, Mesa, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This park's sites are small, all gravel and cement, and the dog run is bad. Laundry facilities were OK, WIFI slow at times. But the biggest issue I have is with management. We stayed a month and were required to provide a deposit of $100 for electricity. They told us that the meters were only read once a month and we would be sent a check in a couple weeks for the remaining money after our charges were calculated. We never got it. Now it's been more than eight months later and after repeated excuses, still nothing. We called twice a week for the last two weeks with our voicemails getting no response at all now. We stayed here in a motorhome but will not stay here again. The rate includes the $100. We camped at Arizona Maverik RV Park in a Motorhome.
