Lady Luck Casino, Caruthersville, Missouri

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Disappointed - The price nearly doubled from the previous year. That coupled with the fact that to get the discount (from the $40.00 normal rate) we not only had to show we were Good Sam members, but that we had gambled there in the past year. The sites are nice with concrete pad and level, but the wifi was non existant and the cable tv wasn't the best. For this price I really expect more. We camped at Lady Luck Casino in a Motorhome.

Silver Springs Campers Garden RV Resort, Silver Springs, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

The person who waited on us was pleasant. Most of the park seem to be filled with permanent residents or many "season" residents with a few short term RV spots thrown in. We were told there was WiFi with no charge - we spent forever trying to get on it (office had closed). Finally found out we needed to go to the office/ community room area. There is a small library area in the common area and large community room.

The pool had terrible looking water in it and half filled. Even if you wanted to just sit by the pool sometime during the day it wouldn't have been available.

The site we had was pretty close to our neighbor, but level. Although the CG is right in town it was quieter than we expected. It worked out fine for an overnight stay. We camped at Silver Springs Campers Garden RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine Campground, Beckley, West Virginia

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Very small bath and showers. We had to pay key deposit and then use key to get in bathroom. You return key for refund when you leave. Each campsite had a wire "gate" with padlock. The sites seem to slant downhill. It was OK and convenient to the tourist attractions and was reasonable priced. It was nothing fancy We camped at Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine Campground in a Motorhome.

Rocky Gap State Park, Flintstone, Maryland

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $33.00

There was no laundry. I felt it was overpriced (especially off season) for what we received. We camped at Rocky Gap State Park in a Motorhome.

Anvil Campground, Williamsburg, Virginia

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

We chose this CG because of the shuttle, but after reading the directions to Colonial Williamsburg, decided to hook & unhook our small MH, Only 3.5 miles one way and easy to get there. Train noise was minor though on Wed night there was more. We chose to stay in the center section of the CG. The trains weren't bothersome, but we had windows closed. Traffic noise very minor, some morning to work. Check-in person very helpful. I would stay again. We camped at Anvil Campground in a Motorhome.
