Chattanooga North / Cleveland KOA, Cleveland, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Out of town park close to I-75. Width of sites is about 25-30 feet. We had a pull-through that would have been really unlevel if we had been longer than 26 feet. There were many longer sites with bigger rigs. Roads are dirt and gravel and some trees are around. Plenty of room for dog walking, since it is hilly and sites are not packed in. Pleasant stay, but pricey. We camped at Chattanooga North / Cleveland KOA in a Motorhome.

Cedar Creek Park RV & Driving Range, Cave Spring, Georgia

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful area and parked right along the stream. Site size okay, but only a gravel parking lot with numbers on stake. We needed to have 30 amp, so our checkin person loaned us an adaptor to be returned to the office in the morning. Off the beaten path and friendly folks around. The women's restroom was spartan but mostly clean. Husband says that the men's was deplorable and filthy. Only park we know of near Cave Spring. We camped at Cedar Creek Park RV & Driving Range in a Motorhome.

There are restaurants in Cave Spring - few miles west - and shops usually open weekends. Interesting history of area.

Singing Hills RV Park & Campground, Cave City, Kentucky

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We chose this park for Passport America. Very pleasant, farm to campground. Office very engaged and helpful. No meeting room or clubhouse, if you need rain day escape. Not real level, not much pavement, restrooms not spacious, but very clean. Wifi okay. Good water. Very quiet and pleasant to walk around sites. We would camp here again. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Lake Shelby Campground, Shelbyville, Kentucky

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We were near and called and left a message to get a call back. It took probably over an hour, but Bob called and told us how to get there. Not for the faint of heart camper, but fine for us. Beautiful park stretches along dammed up creek lake. We were visiting folks so would not be there much. Very small sites, concrete to park on, face the doublewide. No table, but picnic table across grass near lake. Only a tent site right on lake that we saw, others are near the lake. Restrooms are rustic, but clean. Plenty of hot water. Bob knew that we would be back late and it was to rain, so he didn't lock up till we were home. We would camp here again. We camped at Lake Shelby Campground in a Motorhome.
