Pelican Nest RV Resort and Campground, Dauphin Island, Alabama

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

The pictures on the website are a bit deceiving. This park is a parking lot with RV hook-ups. The spots are tight. If you had your awning out, it possibly could touch the RV next to you. On the positive side; the managers were very nice and helpful. You can walk across the street to the beach; however, you do pay a fee. My suggestions for people visiting the island would be to try to get into the other campground first; however, this one does the job if you want to spend all your time on the beach. We camped at Pelican Nest RV Resort and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

WiFi was unusable. Manager was not not available when needed. Sites are way too tight. On the good side- the campground staff was friendly and hardworking. We camped at River's End Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
