Corral RV Park, Dalhart, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

A nice park in a not so nice town! This park is great for a pass through. Owner was nice. We had water, electricity, sewer and cable for $1.00 more.
Sites were fairly far apart? If we ever come through again, we would stay here. We camped at Corral RV Park in a Motorhome.

USA RV Park, Gallup, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This is a wonderful park! Clean, friendly and very accommodating. They serve sandwiches for dinner and ice cream. By the time we got there the sandwiches where gone. By the time I cooked dinner it was too late for the ice cream.
They have entertainment....a nice pool, kids area as well as a dog walk. This campground is what RV Parks should all be like.
The wifi wasn't too great, but it did work. We paid extra to have cable TV.
We only stayed overnight on our way home and I'm glad I found this park. We camped at USA RV Park in a Motorhome.

Movies 'N More RV Park, Lindsborg, Kansas

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We did not want to go through Wichita and this is the only place along our route. It is a movie CD store. The owner was very nice and accommodating. There are only a few sites and all but two are for campers. The rest live there including the owner. We had electricity, water and sewer. We did not have cable and wi-fi did not work. After several attempts of the wi-fi I went inside and asked for help. It worked in the store but not for us, who was parked right next to the store.
We were able to get numerous tv stations and were fine, not having cable. Having heard that it was a Norwegian town we were excited to go out and eat. The owner said that there was nothing there and no restaurants except fast food chains We camped at Movies 'N More RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ponca State Park, Ponca, Nebraska

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed this park. It was easy to get in and out of. We camped in front of the Missouri River, where we could see fish jumping. There were only two other motor homes, which surprised us. We had a river front view and in the back of us a Forrest view. Great surroundings and relaxing. Would come again if we are in the area. We camped at Ponca State Park in a Motorhome.

Wild Bills Campground, Deadwood, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

i think this park is a well kept secret! The reason I think that.....it is empty and the other parks Around here are all full. It is centrally located between Deadwood, Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse.
It has a restaurant/bar at the entrance. Below that is the campground. You are off the main road and are looking at trees. It is rather charming. When you enter there is some equipment that makes it looks a bit trashy....but you go beyond that and it is lovely.
The other campgrounds that we saw while driving where in an campground without trees and close together. I like this campground. We stayed four night. We camped at Wild Bills Campground in a Motorhome.

Buffalo Bill State Park, Cody, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

We had no reservations, therefore where in the dry camp area.
It made no difference to us because the spot was absolutely beautiful. We stayed an extra day....made it three nights. On our second day the wind came up and it was pleasant. It is June though and the wind was warm.
The views are great! We are on the water, looking at the lake and mountains.
You are ten minutes into downtown Cody, which by the way is very charming. Like it so much better than Jackson Hole.
If we had the time, we would stay longer. We camped at Buffalo Bill State Park in a Motorhome.

Gros Ventre Campground (Concessionaire Operated), Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We dry camped, since we didn't have reservations and the hook up area was full. Didn't mind that at all. The area is beautiful. Very peaceful and surroundings soothing. Close to Jackson Hole and the Tetons. People checking us in were friendly and helpful. There is a dump station at the entrance/exit of the park, where you can also get fresh water. Lots of space between sites. Only disappointment......we didn't see any animals like other reviewers made comments on. We were right next to the elk reserve. Beautiful area....loved it. We camped at Gros Ventre Campground (Concessionaire Operated) in a Motorhome.

Springville/Provo KOA , Springville, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

This is the second time we have stayed here. We enjoyed both times. As all KOA's it was a bit more than most campgrounds. We paid $44.00 that included a AAA discount.
Last time we were here in 2015, we had a mechanical and needed to stay close. This is why we choose this campground again. It is close to shopping, restaurants and a decent drive to Salt Lake City and surrounding areas. We enjoyed the sight seeing
Previous comments said that the dog run is far away....it is at the end of the park and not a long walk.
People working here were very friendly and accommodating. We camped at Springville/Provo KOA in a Motorhome.

High Desert RV Park, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We were here in November, so the fact there was little shade was OK with us. This is a great park! Clean, well kept up, spaces have ample room. We liked it here and would come again.

The only negative is that the wifi is spotty and slow. As far as staying at this park.....it is a great place! We camped at High Desert RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cactus RV Park, Tucumcari, New Mexico

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here twice. It is an old motel lot made into a RV park. The owners are nice and accommodating. There are trees for shade and easy in and out access. Great for an overnight stay.

WiFi works great and so does the cable. Price is right. We would stay again. We camped at Cactus RV Park in a Motorhome.

Roadrunner RV Park, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

The park has been through a great deal due to a hurricane and they are rebuilding it. There is no shade, which was fine for us because it was cool.

The management was pleasant. Access was easy, right off the 35, close to the 40.

Because it is pretty bare I'm not sure I would want to stay for a long period.

Dump and utilities are far in the rear. We had to unhook and back up to reach them.

I would stay here again. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Motorhome.

There is a cute nursery close by. This time of the year they had lots of pumpkins! A cute gift shop that had fall items....great and beautiful ribbons. A barn full of unusual Christmas decorations with different ribbons that I have ever seen before. An adorable boutique. Well worth a stop in!

Lincoln State Park, Lincoln City, Indiana

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here three times in our travels around the country! This is my favorite park! We have only ever been here on October and it is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The leaves are yellow, orange, purple ....exquisite!

This last time it rained and we were in our Motorola looking at the lake enjoying the view.....very cozy. The people are so nice! We will come again perhaps a different season. We camped at Lincoln State Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The town of Santa Claus is right next door. It has not been open when we have been here.

There is a little German town close by. I think the name was Jasper. There is a German restaurant that has very good food. I cook German food and this came close.

In October motor homes are decorated for Halloween and the kids come trick or treating. There are boats for rent. All kinds of outdoor activities, which this time of the year is not available.

Branson Shenanigans RV Park, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We loved this park. It was different levels, so even though there where a lot of motor homes you didn't feel that there were. Lots of trees and each site had a charming fence with a picknick table.

The owners and Bob,the hands on man working there,.....were great. When we couldn't find the park the owner came and got us.

This park is close to everything therefore very convenient. We loved staying here and if we come back....this will be our park! We camped at Branson Shenanigans RV Park in a Motorhome.

Court Square RV Park , Mountain View, Arkansas

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

It is a large park with very few people staying here. Evidently the prior owner wasn't very good and people that normally stayed here stopped coming. Mike the man that runs the park for the new owner, is great and so are the long term people. Very helpful. We stayed two days longer than originally anticipated. We stayed five days and will come again. We camped at Court Square RV Park in a Motorhome.
