Overall Rating:

This is the second time we have stayed here. Nice park, friendly people in office and you can get dinner if you want. We just got ice cream! Easy to get in and out of, close to the 40. I like this park. We camped at USA RV Park in a Motorhome.

Zuni Village RV Park, Kingman, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

It's mainly for long term people, who by the way keep their area looking nice. They are also pleasant and friendly. There are just a few spots for on the road users. The woman is in office was pleasant and informative. The spot we were at was close to the street and it was loud. There are lots of trees for people that live there but small ones for us. It was HOT 106 and there was no shade. This is a decent campground, neat and clean. We went out for Mexican food....worst I've ever had, uneatable. We camped at Zuni Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lonestar RV Park, Shamrock, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is a park attached to a restaurant called the Mesquite Canyon. You go pay your $20.00 in the restaurant. This park is simple but a great spot for the night. Our dog had space to run around in. The sunset was magnificent! It had electric, water and dump. If we were ever coming through here again, we would stay here. We camped at Lonestar RV Park in a Motorhome.

CasaBlanca Resort-Casino, Mesquite, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here about six times over the last several years. It is convenient when going across the country or just to Utah. There are few trees and the ones they have are small and give no shade. We like this park because of the casino and restaurant. The food is inexpensive and good and I do play craps when we get here. It has always been a good experience checking, in except this time. The woman checking us in was rude and condescending. I think she forgot who the customer was. It really left a bad taste. We camped at CasaBlanca Resort-Casino in a Motorhome.

Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park, West Memphis, Arkansas

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This park was fabulous! I was afraid that we would not be able to get reservations for the Labor Day weekend. Therefor I booked us for four nights. It was great! We visited Beal street in Memphis and the Peabody hotel. But the best was watching the Mississippi. Loved this place. Washing was free! The laundry room was very clean. Trash was picked up three times daily at your site. I would stay here again. We camped at Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Go downtown Memphis to Beal street and the Peabody hotel. The hotel has ducks going from the hotel top to the lobby where they stay all day. At five in the evening the ducks again go up the elevator. It's quite a ritual worth watching. The lobby has great drinks and desserts.

Overall Rating:

Very nice and relaxing. I have never been to a park that the only things you can hear, are the birds, the breeze and crickets. It was wonderful. We rode our bikes, took walks and explored. Saw deer and many other small critters. We camped at Mille Lacs Kathio State Park in a Motorhome.

You can fish, not in the park. There are lots of boat rentals. There is an Indian casino close by. We drove around the lake, which was nice. Enjoyed the town of Aitkin.

Castle Rock County Park, Friendship, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This was a charming park! People had their fifth wheels there for the summer. We wanted a lake front spot and we got it. The view was beautiful! Sadly it rained all night and there was a storm and flood warning. If we wanted to relax and do nothing, this is a great place! Reasonable and nice. We camped at Castle Rock County Park in a Motorhome.

Madison KOA, De Forest, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

People were friendly. This was a typical KOA, very nice and well taken care of. For us, not a destination place, however we enjoyed exploring Maddison. Which is about 20 minutes away. We also went into the local small town and had frozen yogurt. Best I've ever had. We would stay here again. We camped at Madison KOA in a Motorhome.

AB Camping & RV Park, Cheyenne, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Like this park, lots of trees. Even though you are close to your neighbors, the lots are situated so you don't look into their motor homes. Wifi was great. Cable was not. We were only able to get three stations with our antenna. Owners very friendly and accommodating . Only complaint I had, was that in this very peaceful park, the guy next to us ran his air conditioner all night long. It was a cool night so not necessary. He said it was for his three Ridgeback dogs. We camped at AB Camping & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Eat at their restaurant. Good value and friendly service. The restaurant is a good place for ribs and pie. Loved both! If you are going to have the ribs, order in advance. They run out. People call in for orders to go. We ordered a whole rack for two and had another meal left for the two of us.

Overall Rating:

A nice park in a not so nice town! This park is great for a pass through. Owner was nice. We had water, electricity, sewer and cable for $1.00 more.
Sites were fairly far apart? If we ever come through again, we would stay here. We camped at Corral RV Park in a Motorhome.

USA RV Park, Gallup, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This is a wonderful park! Clean, friendly and very accommodating. They serve sandwiches for dinner and ice cream. By the time we got there the sandwiches where gone. By the time I cooked dinner it was too late for the ice cream.
They have entertainment....a nice pool, kids area as well as a dog walk. This campground is what RV Parks should all be like.
The wifi wasn't too great, but it did work. We paid extra to have cable TV.
We only stayed overnight on our way home and I'm glad I found this park. We camped at USA RV Park in a Motorhome.

Movies 'N More RV Park, Lindsborg, Kansas

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We did not want to go through Wichita and this is the only place along our route. It is a movie CD store. The owner was very nice and accommodating. There are only a few sites and all but two are for campers. The rest live there including the owner. We had electricity, water and sewer. We did not have cable and wi-fi did not work. After several attempts of the wi-fi I went inside and asked for help. It worked in the store but not for us, who was parked right next to the store.
We were able to get numerous tv stations and were fine, not having cable. Having heard that it was a Norwegian town we were excited to go out and eat. The owner said that there was nothing there and no restaurants except fast food chains We camped at Movies 'N More RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ponca State Park, Ponca, Nebraska

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed this park. It was easy to get in and out of. We camped in front of the Missouri River, where we could see fish jumping. There were only two other motor homes, which surprised us. We had a river front view and in the back of us a Forrest view. Great surroundings and relaxing. Would come again if we are in the area. We camped at Ponca State Park in a Motorhome.

Wild Bills Campground, Deadwood, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

i think this park is a well kept secret! The reason I think that.....it is empty and the other parks Around here are all full. It is centrally located between Deadwood, Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse.
It has a restaurant/bar at the entrance. Below that is the campground. You are off the main road and are looking at trees. It is rather charming. When you enter there is some equipment that makes it looks a bit trashy....but you go beyond that and it is lovely.
The other campgrounds that we saw while driving where in an campground without trees and close together. I like this campground. We stayed four night. We camped at Wild Bills Campground in a Motorhome.

Buffalo Bill State Park, Cody, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

We had no reservations, therefore where in the dry camp area.
It made no difference to us because the spot was absolutely beautiful. We stayed an extra day....made it three nights. On our second day the wind came up and it was pleasant. It is June though and the wind was warm.
The views are great! We are on the water, looking at the lake and mountains.
You are ten minutes into downtown Cody, which by the way is very charming. Like it so much better than Jackson Hole.
If we had the time, we would stay longer. We camped at Buffalo Bill State Park in a Motorhome.
