Winter Island Park Campground, Salem, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Nice comfortable quiet place to stay while visiting the Boston/Salem area. The rate reflects staying 2 nights in the field and 2 nights on the harbor. It is a small but popular campground with beautiful views of the harbor. No Wi-Fi at the site, good air TV channels, nice staff. We would definitely camp here again. We camped at Winter Island Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Sunfox Campground LLC, Lisbon, Connecticut

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful picturesque campground. Camp units were on 90% of the full hookup section but none were occupied. We stayed in the short term W/E/Gray water only section. Our 2 day stay was very pleasant. The Wi-Fi was excellent. Air TV was limited. Direct TV was available in the office lounge. The staff were very accommodating. Relatively close to Mystic, Providence, and Norwich. It looked like it might a busy/fun family park in the summer time. We would camp here again. We camped at Sunfox Campground LLC in a Motorhome.

This is a nice clean quiet park. Many "permanent" trailers for local weekenders and local workers. Super helpful staff, great air TV and 3G cell service. Close to metro NYC. We will return to visit NYC. We camped at Battle Row Campground in a Motorhome.

Great grounds, super Wi-Fi, easy access to Tampa, Snook fishing off of campground docks, relatively quiet. Cleanest AC'ed restrooms I've ever seen. Good rules for every one. We would stay here again. Chula Vista RV Resort, Chula Vista, California

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

The park is very clean and all the staff is friendly and helpful. Nice amenities, heated pool, spa, trash pick up at your site, great cable channels (espn + espn2, fast and free Wi-Fi connection, afternoon clubhouse socials. Dog area is small and dirt only, we did not use it. The RV park has a public park on the south and west sides with grass and beautiful waterfront walks and a pier. There is a fenced, grassed 2+ acre lot on the north side for off leash. Walk/stumble to 2 restaurants facing the Marina. We stayed on a Bay front site adjacent to the public park which is active. We would stay here again but on an interior site. We camped at Chula Vista RV Resort in a Motorhome.
