We stayed at Yogi Bear Jellystone Park for a weekend. At the time of our visit, it was the park's off season, yet they still had fun activities for kids. Volley ball courts, art and crafts, mini golf, and nature trails were just several of the many things to do! In addition to our camper, we rented a "loft". The small, shed-like cabin was very dirty and seemed to have a roach problem. There was dead bugs scattered throughout the loft. All the cabins and even the park was outdated. We did have an electrical problem, but the park ranger was there to fix it in less than five minutes.

We "won" a weekend at Wolf River Resort in a raffle at Camper World so we decided to try it out. This seems to be a non kid friendly camp ground and the employees seem to push a drinking atmosphere. The electricity had some issues at our hook up but the park was clean and the river was nice. We had to go sit through a presentation and we had to watch part of it on an old TV. I am sure some people would like this kind of place but to us it was just cheesy.

Gulf State Park campground is great. Sites were nice and level, and pull through sites afforded the most privacy. There are many back in sites that had good trees and shrubs that provide good privacy, too. Wi-Fi did not work well at all, but I could pick it up near the check in office when needed. Restrooms and showers were very clean and dumpsters are provided for trash dump. Nice laundry facility, camp store, tennis courts, volley ball court, great pool, horse shoes, education center with nature presentations and awesome bike trails make this park a fun place to stay. Shelby Lake is on the park property and is wonderful for swimming if you get tired of being on the beach. Staff were always helpful and they sprayed for mosquitoes while we were there. Can't wait to return!

Really fun wave pool and water slides here at this state park. Sites were a little uneven and close to one another, but if you select carefully you can get a good one in the back areas. People always post here about the gnats, and we saw a lot of them, but fans and bug spray keep them away. The beach is bike riding distance away but not that great. The pool and camp store are not open yet but look like they will be nice.

This is our 2nd time coming to Cajun Palms and it is always fun with many things to do for kids. The sites are nice and have very helpful staff. The pool is awesome with a shallow little kids area on one side with a swim up bar for adults on the other. There are kids activities during the day, movies, arcade, volley ball, etc. There is a long line in the morning during the summer to get a good spot at the pool. The park is also very close to the interstate and there are many great restaurants close by. One down side is the loudness of all the drunk people at night but other than that its great.

This is our 2nd trip to this state park and it really is nice. This time we stayed in the older section and it was a little more crowded than the newer section. Weather was warmer and there were a lot of people at the beach. The thing we really like a lot about this park is the bike path. This time we followed it to the lake front area and there was also a flea market along the way. Great state park.

Went here for Easter and had a good time with the family. The spots were very unlevel and very close to one another and erosion seems to be an issue in many of the spots. We camped in the newer northern section. The restrooms and showers were fairly clean. The campground was nice and clean even though this weekend it was full. Trash pick up seemed to happen every morning. There were lots of trails for bike riders and hikers. WiFi did not work very well at all regardless of what time we tried to use it.

We got here after dark and it was hard to find our site because there was no check in station and no one to get a map from. When we did find the site, it was a little difficult to pull in the small slots. Our site was great with a view of the lake and within walking distance of the showers. The showers and restrooms were very clean and heated. The lake here holds the Mississippi state record bass. We did not do any fishing but it looks really nice. No Wi-Fi and we could not even get cell phone service in loop B by the lake. Overall very nice campground especially for fishermen.

Great state park here. We stayed for a weekend here, and it was right after this area had serious rain for about 2 weeks. We has site #3, and it was mostly soggy and the woods right behind it were flooded but that's to be expected. The pier and beach area were very nice. There were many deer and hogs to be seen during the day and at night crossing the roads. The concrete bike trail was really cool. It was about a 4 mile ride from the site to a nice restaurant by bike. The restrooms were clean and in good order. We would come back for sure.

We stayed here during the Thanksgiving holiday, and it was great. There is a good distance between sites, and we had site 129 right on one of the lakes and had wonderful weather. The river is great even at this time of the year, and all the trails were well kept and clean. The showers and restrooms were clean and in good working order. Nice park for kids; hiking and biking trails, fishing ponds, tubing and canoeing on the river make for lots of stuff for kids to do. Great place, and I will return for sure.

Very nice and clean campground, and the employees were very helpful with backing in our trailer. The pool was very clean and so were the restrooms. Be aware that there are long term working residents and people who use the park as a camp. There is not a whole lot for kids to do here, but it is an overall nice campground.
