I give this campground the highest rating for what you get for your money. They have spacious sites, all utilities that work great but it's the view! Location, etc! You're right on the Mighty Mississippi River where barges run day and night delivering goods up or down the river. If you are in a fifth wheel or trailer you are parked with the windows toward the river and a motor home is windshield to the river view. If your not into the view, there are sites up in the trees where shade is abundant. We have been here before and would go back in a minute!

This campground is sterile in that there are few trees, concrete roads but eventually will be a great campground. There is fishing, boating (non motorized), pathways for walking, running, biking and about 30 minutes from downtown St. Louis., our purpose for being there. All utilities are available and work great. TV and cell are good. WiFi, intermittent at best. We would stay here again. There are nearby gas stations and groceries.

The owners were helpful from the minute we drove in. Lead us to our sites, showed the hookups and brought rubber door mats for us to use. All utilities were good, no TV but good cell service. This owner is working on the campground to make improvements and is doing a nice job. A big storm, that brought standing water in the sites and they brought enough of the door mats to lead all the way to our truck. I have a bum knee and they saw me limping. Thought that was extremely thoughtful. We enjoyed our stay even though it was just an overnight stop.

Near all things BlackHills, friendly and informative staff, good electric, water and sewer. Gravel sites, limited tv and cell service and in a busy highway. The big surprise, which occurred in the middle of the night was a train horn...never ending! Great pizza restaurant right around the corner. The staff went above duty giving us routes to take, things to see, etc. Even with the noise, it's a nice campground and we would stay here again if in the area. We did use the laundry room which was neat, clean and reasonable.

This campground is worth every penny they charge. When I made the reservations I told the guy I wanted to be right under that big rock...and we were! All utilities were available and used. We sat under the shade tree or awning and were able to watch climbers scaling to the top of Devils Tower. An amazing site but no TV and cell service is minimal. A couple of gift shops, a restaurant and THE movie nightly on the deck...Close Encounters of a Third Kind.

If you don't miss the signs to the campground (yep...we did) this is one of the nicest campgrounds we have used. It's off the beaten path and there are some downsides. They only have a few 50 amp sites, no sewer but a dump station and you must go in with water or stop at the fill station. There are water spigots throughout the campground so folks can get extra but there's no connecting. Our site was a very large concrete slab with a fire ring and table with plenty of room for chairs etc. Most sites are grass/gravel but all are large. There is no TV or cell service. It's a reservoir so water activities are big with a couple of boat ramps. We would go back here for sure.

Sites were unlevel so get out your extra blocking even with a leveling system. Trees need trimming so your rv doesn't scrape the roof/sides. There are many permanents here and many are run down. The office/gift shop has an unpleasant odor and shares the building with the restaurant on the second floor. It gets great reviews so we decided to try it. It's something right out of the 60's but the food was very good, service great and prices reasonable so if you stay here, try the restaurant. Electric was good as was water pressure.

An overnight stop. All utilities used and all worked well.

This KOA is spacious, easy to find, super staff that worked to get our traveling companions parked right next to us. This was our second visit here and we would return. All utilities were good...power, water and sewer connections. Close to a liquor store and grocery store as well as restaurants.

This is a nice little campground. We were there to tour Pictured Rocks and a few waterfalls. It's on the outskirts of town and traffic noise is in the background but tolerable. All services, water, electric and sewer were adequate. Had our first Pastie there.

This campground is very convenient to the ferries to Mackinaw Island and restaurants. It is easy to drive by the entrance which was discussed when we checked in as we aren't the only ones that missed the road. Spaces are fairly close but not impassable. They are also shorter making parking of the tow vehicle or toad a bit of a challenge. Sites are gravel, grass and dirt. The water pressure was good as was electric. We would stay here again.

This might be the worst campground we have ever stayed in! Should have read the reviews! It is difficult to see exactly where the campground is located. Man checking us in wasn't a font of information either. There is no TV service, minimal cell service, the sites are all weeds and sand, extremely unlevel, only 2 50 amp sites. All sites are back in. Water pressure is weak and since there are apparently no rules, we didn't know what to do with garbage, dog bags and loud music, well after midnight! There are a few other campers but appear to be all permanent and unkempt...trashy! This campground could be so much more if someone cared. Passport America should reconsider supporting this place. Will never go here again!

You really have to know where this campground is and follow directions. All hookups were good however the sites are unlevel and we had to use extra blocking under our jacks. This was a one night stay and we would stay here again. It's quiet and the staff friendly.

Nice campground near all things to do in the area. Utilities were all as they should be, good water pressure and proper electric. There are lots of tent campers here due to activities in the area and many permanents, seemingly well cared for. Would stay here again.

We will start with the good things. The water and water pressure is good as is the power. Cable worked fine with several channels, roads are good and all sites are gravel and pretty level. We were here as a group and even though told we would be together, we were not. The site we were on was barely big enough although we had given our length when reserving. Our slides are larger than normal, the guy assisting didn't believe us, said he would come back to measure and did! Reservations over promised and under delivered. The campground is convenient to all major attractions and sights, but all on the side of a hill, some sites with road noise. There is minimal wifi and almost no cell service.
