Grant River COE, Potosi, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $9.00
Overall Rating:

We stay here often. Like to sit by the river and watch , tugboats, pelicans, eagles, hawks. The town of potosi has a brewery. Good restaurants. Located in a picturesque piece of landscape. Senior pass gets half price. Water is nearby, and electric is at the site. Will return this year, again in September. We camped at Grant River COE in a Travel Trailer.

Lake Le-Aqua Na State Park, Lena, Illinois

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park, once you get to the campsites. The roads in are terrible. Large potholes, drop off at edge. The area is quite beautiful, the restaurants in town are very reasonable. The sites are spacious, water nearby, and electric at the site. Some sites, on the downhill side, need a lot of leveling. We camped at Lake Le-Aqua Na State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Rocky roller good Sam chapter. 10 units stayed here and had a wonderful time. Campground owners are so friendly. The grounds are really well kept. Beautiful plane trees, well trimmed. Nice spaces, community fire pit. Highly recommended. We camped at Country Roads Motorhome & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Heartland RV Park & Cabins, Hermosa, South Dakota

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

PPA rate makes it worthy of a "10", but I dropped it to a"9" because pool was not heated to my expectations. Road noise was not even a factor. Campground is close to everything you would want to see and do. I would stay here again We camped at Heartland RV Park & Cabins in a Travel Trailer.

Wacky West Travel Park, Valentine, Nebraska

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

First glance, what have we got into?? The place looks like a junkyard. Junk all around. But the people are so nice. If the "looks" don't bother you, it offers all the amenities, at Passport rate of $18, including $3 for A/C. Most other campgrounds in the area don't even have electricity. We camped at Wacky West Travel Park in a Travel Trailer.
