Very nice at check in. Small rv park with very tight sites. But if you're on the water it's makes up for the closeness. A real shame they did not replace the docks that several waterfront sites once had. That would make up for lack if space. Nice thing about this location you can easily walk or bike into town which is the best.

Pool is really nice. Front desk is nice but I have experienced much nicer at other campgrounds. Campsite 101 thru 110 have no shade and NO VIEW. We stayed 1 week and this is the site they gave us. Campers who came in for 1 night got nicer sites. Only stay here if you get site 60 - 70 or 25 - 36. Dryers were out of order. Stay 1 night get a good site then move on. Too crowded for the price. Never spent so much $ for camping and got so little. Will not be back.

Very disappointed with this RV park. It is more for permanent trailers. Campers are placed along the perimeter of the park that has no ambience. Sites are somewhat level and with grass, but look out for fireants. Had to ask for picnic table. Office is closed on weekends and the staff is not that friendly. They were ready to go home that pm. The one plus is this RV park is very close to The Villages.

We camped here for 6 days to enjoy the fall leaves. Sites are a bit snug, but very woodsy park with a great stream that runs through the park. Park has cabins and tent sites too. Laundry room and restrooms were clean, though a bit outdated. Owners are very nice. Even helped us back into site and helped to level our trailer. Loved walking around campground. Very close to Waynesville and Sylva for restaurants and shopping. Right next to Blue Ridge Parkway. Go see the elk that are being re-introduced to the area. Loved this campground. Will be back.
