We really enjoyed this park. We had a site right on the creek and kids played in it all day long. They also have a decent sized pool, playground, basketball court, fishing lake nearby, small arcade, and small camp store. It is a large campground that is spread out into smaller sections which makes it seem smaller than what it actually is. Our site by the creek was quiet. There is quite a bit of shade and nice sized lots. It is 15 minutes away from Lake Michigan. Montague and Whitehall are both very nice, quaint towns. It is on White River so if you like to canoe it would be perfect.

This campground is set way off the road and provides a very nice country setting. A variety of different lots to choose from. Many of them shady and private. We took advantage of the hiking trails and really liked the part through the woods and over the creek. The bridge was out on the trail, but I think it just made the hike more fun. The beach has improved with much better sand than the previous year - although it is a distance from the campground and you will probably need to drive there. There were a lot of fishing boats on the water and people seemed to be reeling them in. There is also a horse campground too, so if you like horses take a walk through there. The playground has little to offer with only swings and a sandbox. The bathrooms were clean and the showers appeared to be too. Roads were paved so decent bike riding with a mountain bike trail. People were very friendly and most were local.

We stay here a few times each summer. This is my children's absolute favorite campground. This campground is all about making your kids happy. They have just about every recreational activity available. They have planned activities every day - all day with small fees for some. The staff is very friendly and seem to make improvements to the park every year. They have lots with shade and sun depending on your taste. Some of them are a bit closer to the expressway than I would prefer and you definitely have to call early to get a site. The park is very busy on weekends with kids all over, but that is part of what Jellystone is all about.

The campground has a very friendly staff with some organized activities on weekends such as candy hunt, fire truck rides, and hay ride. They have a jumping pillow, playground and nice arcade. It has decent sized lots with lots of shade. The campground does run along a train track. The train went through later at night. It did not bother us and the kids actually enjoyed it. It is close to both Oscoda and Tawas with some really nice scenic views. We will definitely come here again.

It is a very clean park with friendly staff. It has a very nice campstore with snacks/ice cream. It is close to state park with nice beach. There are no mature trees and it has gravel roads which make it difficult for smaller children to ride bikes.
