Fort Stockton RV Park, Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Last here in 2013. Nice upgrades in bathroom and shower area. Pool completely redone and now salt water. Grounds clean and well maintained. On site cafe serves dinner and breakfast. Very friendly office staff. Only thing that keeps from a 10 is no store. Would absolutely stay here again. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Motorhome.

Texas Wine Country Jellystone Park Camp-Resort, Fredericksburg, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $66.00
Overall Rating:

Nothing here worth such a high cost. Pool area nice but in mid October too cool to use. Hot tub didn't work. Weak WiFi. Only 30% of park is constructed and open as of our stay. Nearest restroom and shower a 3-4 minute walk. No shade on hot side of RV. Nice dog park but clear on other side of park. Nothing special about this park. Would not stay here again. We camped at Texas Wine Country Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in a Motorhome.

Clean, well maintained, friendly owners. Upgraded bath and showers. Sparkling pool area and plenty of space for dogs. Has a dog washing facility, too. Porch swings everywhere. One of the nicest parks we have stayed in for quite awile. We camped at All About Relaxing RV Park in a Motorhome.

Asheville West KOA, Candler, North Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly office staff. Sites well spaced with trees and some grass. Strong WiFi at our site, F-21. Easy pull through. Lots of places for dog to roam. Only negative: I-40 just down hill so noisy. After awhile it just becomes background noise. Would absolutely stay here again. We camped at Asheville West KOA in a Motorhome.

One of cleanest bath/shower rooms we have seen. Nothing fancy but very well maintained. Site level with convenient hookups. Near office so WiFi was strong enough to stream Netflix on tablet. Office staff friendly. would stay again if on route. We camped at Deer Grove RV Park in a Motorhome.

Twin Fountains RV Park, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Very attractive layout. Wide spacing between sites. Good pool and spa and large store. Problems are with basic services. Wifi is terrible and bathrooms dirty and not well maintained. Only 2 showers for each sex and one shower in each is broken. Pet friendly and plenty of places to walk.

Would not stay here again. We camped at Twin Fountains RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tucumcari KOA, Tucumcari, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

One night stop on way east. KOA was convenient and friendly. We like that there is a cafe on site for breakfast and dinner. Limited menu but good food. Will deliver to RV. Close to road but noise not a real problem. Site level and near bathroom (#43). Would stay here again. We camped at Tucumcari KOA in a Motorhome.

Heber RV Park, Heber, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Best WiFi we have ever experienced. No problems streaming Netflix. Bathrooms clean but only 1 for each sex in camping area. Badly in need of remodel and expansion.

Friendly office staff and quiet overnight. Mostly seasonal campers.

We have stayed here before and would stay for one or two nights again. We camped at Heber RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area, Show Low, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Some of the friendliest campground hosts and support people we have ever experienced are here. The campgrounds are beautiful and Fools Hollow Lake is stunning. Hiking trails, boat rentals in season, very clean bathrooms. This time we stayed in Ruddy Duck loop which has electric and water only. But, park dump station is 3 minutes away on drive out. Solid Verizon 4G service to use as mobile hot spot. Very dog friendly. We camped at Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

Kingman KOA, Kingman, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Cleanest, nicest bathrooms we have ever experienced at a KOA. Site nicely shaded with trees and oleander bushes. Over 70 cable channels, good WiFi and. 4G Verizon cell service. Well stocked store. New electrical service in our row (#113) meant solid 120 volts even though weather quite warm and everyone running their ac. Super front office...friendly and welcoming. Would absolutely stay here again. We camped at Kingman KOA in a Motorhome.

Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful pools and grounds don't make up for several problems during visit. Dangerously low voltage (111-112 volts) meant power failure when AC, frig, and microwave on at same time. Voltage that low can ruin electronic equipment and RV systems. Hot water in shower turned cold after 3 minutes. $6 a day for Internet. Limited cable channels. Oasis resort is Vegas glitz with some underlying problems. We camped at Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Big Mountain Campground, Nephi, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful setting with lots of trees and grass. Sites farthest from office are well spaced. Clean bathrooms and spacious showers. We could not get cell service but 5 miles up a canyon didn't expect it. Wi-Fi very fast (72 Mbps). Nice pool and good store. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Big Mountain Campground in a Motorhome.

Red Desert Rose Campground (formerly RV World Campground), Rawlins, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

As others have said, the staff is excellent. The park is a gravel parking lot, but clean and maintained. Sites too close together for any private space but pull-throughs are wide and long enough. Restrooms kept clean. Office well stocked. Would stay here again. We camped at Red Desert Rose Campground (formerly RV World Campground) in a Motorhome.

Deer Park Campground, Buffalo, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Best Wi-Fi of any park we've ever experienced. Up to 65 Mbps. Owners have started to combine some sites so there is much more room between units. We were in #27 and had a separate parking area for the towed. Baths and showers clean, but like many older places showers need some preventive maintenance and to be expanded. Almost impossible to turn around in one. Excellent walking trail for dogs and people. Lots of shade trees. Ice cream available each evening. Close to town. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Deer Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Kennebec KOA, Kennebec, South Dakota

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Basic campground with a few trees but mostly open gravel spots. Had a pull-through that was almost too short for 30 foot RV and towed. Biggest problem: an overwhelming smell of sewage on the evening we were there. Noticed a sewer holding pond right behind campground. Not sure if that was the source but we had to keep all windows closed and AC on to block smell. Just horrible. Would never stay here again. We camped at Kennebec KOA in a Motorhome.
