Southside RV Park, Dillon, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice hard working manager/owner. Lots of grass, wide spaces. Convenient location in town. Easy in and out. We wanted to go fishing and they had a group coming in so they were more than accommodating in letting us leave the RV within the park. Would stay again when in Dillon. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Batise Springs RV Park, Pocatello, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Nice enough park to overnight in. Positives - easy access, nice view, lots of grass. Negatives - agree with the other reviewer, pull throughs would be tight to get in and out of if they were full. Also extremely noisy at night from the Simplot plant down the road. But overall nice place with good laundry room (one washer but huge), lots of grass, and good electric. We camped at Batise Springs RV Park in a Motorhome.

Spring Creek Campground and Trout Ranch, Big Timber, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This park is clean, friendly and beautiful. All the sites are within hearing distance of the river, and gravel or grass. Sites right on river for big rigs with hook ups, are gravel. Plenty of space between rigs. The staff is super friendly and helpful. My husband had to fly home for the weekend and I have felt completely safe with plenty to do. Park is very close to Big Timber, a great little town to play in with good restaurants. Try the Grand Hotel for a five star meal. The laundry facilities were immaculate. Ponds for kids' trout fishing. We will definitely be here again. We camped at Spring Creek Campground and Trout Ranch in a Motorhome.

Boulder Creek RV Resort, Lone Pine, California

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

The park was very clean and ample space in the "newer" part. Older part is pretty close between rigs. Very dog friendly - brought our two for their first outing. One downside of this park is no grass, no gravel - mostly decomposed granite. Pool and jacuzzi facilities are well kept up. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice views across mountains and close to many site seeing trips such as Alabama Hills. Best park between Lancaster and Bishop as far as amenities and location. We camped at Boulder Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Rose Valley RV Ranch, Silver City, New Mexico

Date of Stay: December, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here despite the other reviews saying that the internet was slow. It was WAY slow. The person who checked us in was not very friendly. Lots of full timers. Just not a great feel at all. Did the laundry and was nervous about staying in there by myself. Would not stay here again. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Triangle T Guest Ranch, Dragoon, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This place is a great place to spend time. The sites are level, and there is lots of room between. They have horses, and a great staff to show you around. The saloon and restaurant is open Friday and Saturdays. Saturday a band plays, so get reservations, because people come from all over. The facilities include upscale cabins so families not RVing, can stay here also. Lots of things to see close by. We camped at Triangle T Guest Ranch in a Motorhome.

Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park), Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: December, 2012 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

The owners (young couple) were wonderful. We had transmission problems and they had the name of a great guy who came and helped, and got us into a shop and fixed that day. The park has a really wonderful feel. Clean, friendly and had tree/shade. Lots of dogs in the mobile home portion. Owners are RVers and make you feel like you are at home. Would definitely return. We camped at Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park) in a Motorhome.

Great place: very nice office staff. We pulled in late in the day, running from a storm ready to hit Santa Fe. Easy off freeway, and no freeway noise. Wonderful stop over. We camped at Kiva RV Park and Horse Motel in a Motorhome.

Quail Run RV Park, Quartzsite, Arizona

Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

The other places we saw around Quartzsite didn't compare to Quali Run. We used this as an overnight on the way to Tucson. The snowbirds had not arrived yet so there were not many people and rigs. This is off the beaten track, but that is good because many others are right next to the freeway. Good place. We camped at Quail Run RV Park in a Motorhome.

Gila Bend KOA (formerly Augie's Quail Trail RV Park), Gila Bend, Arizona

Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is the best park in the area, and a very nice park to be at. The management went out of their way to give us ideas on historic places to visit. They are very friendly and helpful. Be sure and call ahead and get a reservation, because many full time construction workers and now snow birds fill the park up. Nice sites with plenty of room between. Very clean and well kept up. We camped at Gila Bend KOA (formerly Augie's Quail Trail RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Desert Trails RV Park (40+ park), Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This place is off the beaten track. Lots of nice snowbirds. Party, bocce ball, horseshoes, lots of contests. The people are really welcoming and include newcomers. We parked in a nice long spot with plenty of room between. Managers are very helpful. Like it so much, we are going back this week on the way home. We camped at Desert Trails RV Park (40+ park) in a Motorhome.
