Junius Ponds Cabins & Campgrounds, Phelps, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the nicest parks we have ever stayed in. We had a pull thru site that was plenty long enough for the RV and the tow vehicle. We were in a 45' motor home. The roads are a bit tight but wide enough to get around . The only problem we encounter is it rained very hard the night we were there and leaving the lot requires a bit of up hill and there is not really room to get that big of an RV out of the lot without going across the grass and it being quite wet the wheels spun and we had to unhook from our tow vehicle and back out of the lot which was not a problem. I would return here to this lot again anytime as it is a wonderful site but I would just plan on backing out no matter if it was dry or not as it is a very tight way to pull out and backing out is no problem at all. We camped at Junius Ponds Cabins & Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

Spring Lake RV Resort, Ingersoll, Ontario

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Great park but they only have a few sites that are used for travelers as most of the lots are filled with permanent and seasonal campers. This park is definitely not set up for Big Rigs as we were in a 45' motor home and had to have someone track down the owner of the lot next to us to get them to move their truck so we had room to cut across the end of their lot to get into ours We were only there for one night and did not want to disconnect from our tow vehicle and we filled our lot and the most of the lot behind us. Getting out of the lot was a bit easier but also requires someone to move their car. There really is not room for a 45' RV in this park. the residents who moved their vehicles for us were super nice about it and that made for a pleasant stay. I would guess the max length to get a Motor home into these sites should be 36 to a max of 40' and they would be tight. Not going back anytime soon. We camped at Spring Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Sequoia RV Ranch, Three Rivers, California

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This park could use a lot of work, Port-o-lets in an RV park for bathrooms do not work for me. This park needs a washroom / shower facility in the RV park part in the worst way. Water pressure was pitiful when the park was full for the holiday and that didn't change after the crowd left. The electrical was very weak on the lot we were on. Don't know about the rest of the park.Would I stay here again, doubt it, but I guess there is not a lot to choose from in this area. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Cherry Blossom RV and Mobile Home Park (formerly Pecan Point RV Park), Dothan, Alabama

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Second time here for one night. Great park. Nice place to stay for as long as you want. Bathrooms and showers could use some work but most definitely not the worst I've seen. Rate was the Passport America rate. We camped at Cherry Blossom RV and Mobile Home Park (formerly Pecan Point RV Park) in a Motorhome.

October Bend RV Park, Lake City, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a one night stopover. The place is noisy. We stayed for the Passport America rate and my one big gripe is I think PA should mention in their add that there are almost 3 miles of Florida unpaved road to drive to get here. Not a place I would choose to come for a one night stopover again. Not a place I would choose to come after a big rain either as the lots are grass. We camped at October Bend RV Park in a Motorhome.
