Ben Franklin RV Park, York, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park for an overnight stay and convenient to York. If traveling to park north on I83 from Baltimore note that Mapquest and others provide directions to exit at PA-216. Make sure to stay on PA-216 to PA-616 rather than continue on PA-216 as directions tell you. Otherwise you reach a bridge that is only 11' 1" high on PA-216. I made the mistake of following the Mapquest directions but luckily a passerby gave us a detour. We camped at Ben Franklin RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cedar Point Resorts / Lighthouse Point Campground, Sandusky, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

Great place to camp and go to the park. Sites are tight in the older section and do not have water but being within walking distance of the front gate to the park is worth it. We camped at Cedar Point Resorts / Lighthouse Point Campground in a Motorhome.

Washington DC / Capitol KOA, Millersville, Maryland

Date of Stay: September, 2005 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground with friendly staff. We camped during Labor Day weekend. Some of the nicest restroom/shower facilities I have seen. Pull through sites are level but in the open and no shade but they are right accross from the pool so very convenient for kids. We camped at Washington DC / Capitol KOA in a Motorhome.

Philadelphia South KOA (formerly Timberlane Campground), Clarksboro, New Jersey

Date of Stay: August, 2005 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park for overnight stays with easy access off 295. Restrooms were very clean and campground is well maintained. Sites are narrow but level and roads are paved within campground. Basic cable TV is included. We stayed here as it's the closest campground we could find to Sesame Place in Langhorne, PA. We camped at Philadelphia South KOA (formerly Timberlane Campground) in a Motorhome.
