Had a to get back in site, the pull through sites are too short if you have a tow. Sites are very wide, all gravel. No WiFi. Will stay again. FYI they also now run the Oasis RV park.

Date of Stay:

Stayed for 2 nights due to high winds. The hookups are in the middle of the sites, so have to unhook tow so you can connect, if in motor home. Casino is nice and the Grill had good food and friendly staff. Will stay again when in area.

New to KOA, rate was high for winter. A lot of permanent rigs, but clean around them. Kids riding bikes at brake neck speeds and not watching where they were going, almost got run over twice while walking to restroom. Speeders in cars and rigs, made it unsafe to walk at night. Trains close by and road noise. Didn't get Good Sam Discount because she didn't ask us until after we had paid and she didn't know how to change it. Will not stay again.

Low hanging trees scraped motor home, huge holes in roads. The site beside us used our sewer hookup and theirs was to far for us to reach. Cable ok, but poor choice of channels. WiFi okay if you are close, but slow. Will not stay again.

Price is monthly (everything included except internet). Came here on recommendation from a fellow traveler. Glad we did! Internet is no longer free, they have daily, weekly & monthly rates. It works very well. AT&T & Verizon cell service is good. This is a county park and very well kept, snowbird heaven. Although there is not much in the way of amenities, Laughlin, NV is just across the river (we watched the fireworks on New Year Eve from our rig)! Staff are all friendly and very helpful. A lot of things to see and do around the area. Will be back next winter.

They have a pool, but don't heat it in the winter and its too hot outside to swim in summer, go figure. The clubhouse was closed, because they're too cheap to turn AC on. The office always had lights off, no AC on, just fans sometimes. Country store is a joke, one shelf of food, mostly junk. Though they did have a lot of homemade clothes for sale. I think the owner made them. They require a deposit, then ask how long you want to stay. You have to give them an answer or they say you may have to leave if they get a reservation for your site. If you say 2 months, but only stay 1, you don't get your deposit back. Big rip off! They have full time residents that think they can just cut through any site they want, and let their dog do his thing, at your site and leave it for you to walk in. Not allowed to do maintenance on rig or car, but one guy had his tank dropped on MH and filled the whole park with gas smell. Felt sorry for the people next door, I think they left for the day! Will not return and will not recommend to any fellow travelers.

Still hot when we got here, but river was nice! Wish the clubhouse was open, but they don't open it until the winter people come in. Some summer folks still here, were real nice and gave us ideas on where to go and things to see. We had planned to stay longer but family emergency, had to leave early. Will come back if possible, but closer to winter. Will recommend. Nice staff and hosts.
