Thousand Trails / Carolina Landing, Fair Play, South Carolina

Date of Stay: January, 2009 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

This is no longer run by Thousand Trails. It is an RPI campground. It is a bit old, has cathode ray tube TV, etc. Good location and well kept up for its age. We camped at Thousand Trails / Carolina Landing in a Travel Trailer.

Holland's Shelter Creek, Burgaw, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Near a beautiful location on a small river. Restrooms were closed and locked. Canoes, etc. rentals available. Charming Cajun restaurant. Burgaw is a quaint Southern Town fun to walk though but with limited shopping and attractions. Has an arts center and several restaurants as well as fast food places. We camped at Holland's Shelter Creek in a Travel Trailer.

Mountain Top Bluegrass Festival & Campground, Tarentum, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Passport America campground. Good price for the area but the only restrooms were 2 portapotties - no shower. Convenient to Pittsburgh and for the area, the view was good. We camped at Mountain Top Bluegrass Festival & Campground in a Travel Trailer.
