Pioneer Acadian Village Campground and RV Park, Breaux Bridge, Louisiana

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This park is right off Interstate 10, easy to get to and easy to get back on the road. Some traffic noise but had the AC on so didn't notice it too much. The park is clean, grass mowed, restrooms nice, dog park, swings, etc. Staff was pleasant. Not a fancy park but great for an overnight, we will stay here again. Even better a Waffle House is at the entrance! We camped at Pioneer Acadian Village Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lazy L RV Park, Sherman, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Thankfully our GPS brought us right to the park as there are several turns to make. There seems to by a number of construction workers in the park, they heading out to work before 6:30 AM. Our site was long and level gravel. I rated the park down because of non-existent WiFi. The cable TV requires a complicated hook-up with a box attached to the back of the TV. We were able to get one channel on our antenna. The park is nearly full so suggest reservations. Getting our motorhome to our site was difficult as people were parked in the road and our neighbor had their awning out which we had to get around. We camped at Lazy L RV Park in a Motorhome.

Covered Wagon Campground, Abilene, Kansas

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is an old park with lots of people who seem to be staying long term. Only problem with them was one person had a very "yappy" dog. We were never able to make reservations or even find out if the park was open this late in the year. When we were there never saw any management, just put our check in an envelope. Our site was pull-thru and level. Restrooms were old, but clean. WiFi was great and Cable TV was superior - thus my 5 rating for service. We camped at Covered Wagon Campground in a Motorhome.

Kearney RV Park and Campground, Kearney, Nebraska

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

It was a bit difficult to get to the park. There is just a single wide place to wait to check-in. We had to wait in the road for awhile, felt unsafe. The park is well laid out with gravel roads and concrete pads. We felt it was too expensive for the 14 hours we stayed there. The WiFi did not work which is why I rated Service only a 3. We camped at Kearney RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Lakeside Casino Resort RV Park, Osceola, Iowa

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at this park going north and south for years as it is right off the Interstate 35, easy to get into and out of. But that may come to an end if they don't do something about their roads. I truly don't know when I have see such large and deep potholes. One takes risks taking their RV's over these holes. The casino either needs to maintain this park or close the park. We camped at Lakeside Casino Resort RV Park in a Motorhome.

Dakotah Meadows RV Park, Prior Lake, Minnesota

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is as near to a perfect campground that you can find. I do however suggest getting a back-in site, the pull-through sites are the side by side kind and it can get close to your neighbor. The park roads are paved and sites are concrete. Attractive trash barrows are placed at every site. The park is nicely landscaped with grass, trees and a pond in the middle. Buses will pick you up and drop you off at your site for a ride to the casino. Security often travels through the park. The office staff is on the ball, friendly and wants to make the stay work. I definitely would get reservations. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Amana Colonies RV Park, Amana, Iowa

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This park is fairly basic, a field of grass with a few young trees. The sites are pull through unless they get busy and then put two RV's back to back. There are many sites so that may not happen often. The park couldn't be better located for a visit to the Amana Colonies and the many interesting places to visit not to mention the shopping and dinning opportunities. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nashville East / Lebanon KOA (formerly Countryside Resort), Lebanon, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The person in the office was pleasant and very helpful with directions for Nashville. He led us to our site and made sure all was okay. Our site was not level, but we made it work. We had a pull-through with plenty of room for out 40 foot MH and car. The campground was easy to get into and out of. We enjoyed our stay. We camped at Nashville East / Lebanon KOA (formerly Countryside Resort) in a Motorhome.

Raccoon Valley RV Park - Escapees Rainbow Park, Heiskell, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

As with all Escapees parks, this park is clean, well managed and friendly. There have been many positive changes in the park from our last visit 5 years ago. Our only complaint, which is not a park problem, is that Verizon service has only voice and not data. That meant my smart phone and Mifi didn't work (expect to call on my phone). The office told us this would be corrected in a year. We camped at Raccoon Valley RV Park - Escapees Rainbow Park in a Motorhome.

Atlanta South RV Resort , Mcdonough, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

There is a long narrow road into the campground, wouldn't want to meet another big rig. We were led to our site, was easy to get into and out of. The site was not long enough to keep our car hitched to our 40 foot MH, which was OK as we planned on visiting the area. The pool had just opened, we didn't use the pool but it looked inviting. There was a steady hum from Interstate traffic. No cable TV but Atlanta stations came in on the antenna well. Would stay here again. We camped at Atlanta South RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Savannah Oaks RV Resort, Savannah, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The campground was easy to find and yet far enough off the interstate that it was quiet. We were led to our site which was easy to get into and out of with our 40 foot motor home towing a car. The site was long enough but very narrow. All utilities worked well, we had two bars on the Wi-Fi but it worked and was fast. The campground is old, looked like they stuck a campsite in every available place. Restrooms were old but clean. We had no problem getting back on the highway as there is little traffic so could use both lanes. We camped at Savannah Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Dakotah Meadows RV Park, Prior Lake, Minnesota

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

I don't know what more you could want in a park. They have paved sites and roads, trees, grass, fire pits, grills and a garbage can on sites. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. A convenience store is across the road and two casinos near by with all sorts of eating places. We saw a security car driving around frequently. We stayed 3 weeks and enjoyed it all. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rock Springs / Green River KOA, Rock Springs, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This park is all gravel, only green was some very small trees they are trying to grow. There was only a few feet between us and our neighbors - we were parked so the utility pole served two RV's. We had a great view of large oil storage tanks. The park is way overpriced for what you get. Most people appeared to be over nigher like us. It is easy off and back on the Interstate. The staff was efficient and friendly. Phone ahead if you want 50 amps. We camped at Rock Springs / Green River KOA in a Motorhome.

Richfield KOA, Richfield, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This appears to be a destination park as there are many things for families. School in Utah had just started when we were there so during the week the park was almost empty. All sites are gravel but there are full grown trees and grass around the place. We had a nice pull-through site, level, all utilities worked. Staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. It was a bit difficult to understand the directions to the park. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Motorhome.
