Columbia / Camden RV Park, Camden, South Carolina

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Found this nice park between Columbia and Camden SC. Not a lot of glamor but that's not necessary for us. We liked it a lot. Plenty of space between sites, pull thru was large enough to stay hook to tow. Sites appeared to be a mixed of hard pack gravel - no issues. Bathhouse/restrooms were very good. Had a laundry room but did not use. Plenty of room to walk, see the petting zoo (goats, pony and donkey). Very friendly owner, very reasonable rates (weekly-monthly). Will definitely stay again and hopefully longer. We camped at Columbia / Camden RV Park in a Motorhome.

RVacation RV Park, Selma, North Carolina

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $37.00

Easy access to I95. Lots of interstate noise, and trains going thru but did not interfere with our sleep. Great customer service. Full hookup and nice blacktop pull thru site, plenty of room to keep tow hooked up. Great showers and restroom. Has a nice laundry room but seemed a little high to wash. Plenty of space to walk the dog, nice catch and release lake (no license required). Close to outlet mall, antiques and restaurants. Have stayed here twice and will definitely stay again. We camped at RVacation RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cane 9 Creek RV Park, Heflin, Alabama

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Great park for you and your pet. We had full hookup and a huge pull through site. Just a few campers here when we pulled in, and had a couple pull in after us. Owners were very helpful, friendly and courteous. Showed us to our site. Plenty of room for dogs to run. They have a dog bathing site and small holding area if you have to wash two. Stream runs along the property, big field in the back for exercise. No problems with hookups, clean bathrooms and shower. Nice laundry room available. Just a little road noise, did not interfere with sleeping. Will definitely stay again. We camped at Cane 9 Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sweetwater Valley RV Park, Villa Rica, Georgia

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Gated community. We love rustic parks but this was a little too rustic for us. The main road is red clay and gravel. It was raining lightly when we arrived and the RV lost traction going up the hill on the drive into the camping area. It rained heavily during the night so next day leaving our rear-end diesel pusher lost traction again going up the hill. The shower/bathrooms were very toasty and could use a good sweeping but otherwise ok. Friendly service by older gentleman checking us in. We only used water and electric. Did use pumping station for b/w. Great place for locals, a little off the beaten path for the overnight traveler with a big rig. Will not be returning. We camped at Sweetwater Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.
