Paradise Lake Resort, Nacogdoches, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Nice location off Highway 59. The campground has great potential but is a wreck! Two restrooms: One with a door kicked in. Both rated "D" for DISGUSTING! Office is a mess. Entry road is dirt/mud/potholes. Did not feel comfortable/safe. Would avoid if there was another choice. We camped at Paradise Lake Resort in a Motorhome.

Nacogdoches RV Park, Nacogdoches, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Nothing much has changed since the last review. Certainly nothing for the better. Still no facilities such as bathroom, shower, laundry, etc. Beware: Main entry road has tree branches that will scrap most any Class A RV. Will avoid in the future. We camped at Nacogdoches RV Park in a Motorhome.

North Pole Resorts, Wilmington, New York

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground. Enjoyed our campsite. Choice of wooded or open sunshine sites. Level and well maintained. Clean bathroom/showers; although, no heat at this time and timed showers with no temp control. Office staff had moments of nice contrasting the norm of unfriendly/indifferent/ unhelpful. Would have been a 10 except for office staff attitude. We camped at North Pole Resorts in a Motorhome.

History, Hiking, Javalina! If you like being in the wilderness, this is a great place. Quiet, dark, remote, wildlife, yet the campground has cable TV. Clean showers/restrooms. MacDonald Observatory is 13 miles away. Fort Davis historic Army Fort is nearby. Fun place. If you are a disabled vet, get your Texas Parklands Passport for Vets. We camped at Davis Mountains State Park in a Motorhome.

Neat, clean, friendly, well maintained park. Close to downtown/Alamo. Mission trail adjacent to park. Good authentic Mexican restaurant across the street. Definitely would stay here again. DO NOT take Southcross St between I-37 and Roosevelt Road to get to this park. We camped at Travelers World RV Resort in a Motorhome.
