Whispering Hills RV Park, Georgetown, Kentucky

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

A pretty good RV park in most ways, but for the price I would expect all the usual basic RV standard features, and this park lacks a basic one: Internet. They say they have slow Internet, but my experience is they have NO Internet. I would not stay there again unless they promised me that they overhauled and improved the wireless service. We only stayed 2 nights. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Pumpkin Patch RV Resort, Hermon, Maine

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is probably the best RV campground in the state, if not New England. In an area where the campgrounds are open only 6 months of the year, it is hard to find a good one that compares to those in the South and the West, but this one is great. We camped at Pumpkin Patch RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

TeePee Camprground, Mackinaw City, Michigan

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Pictures on their website are not realistic as the campsites are close! For example, beach was small and weedy, more weeds than sand. Water pressure was so low that we could not shower. We were there on Labor Day weekend and every possible space for a campsite was used. If the park is not crowded it would probably be much better. On the plus side: close to Mackinac City and the hosts were pleasant. We camped at TeePee Camprground in a Fifth Wheel.

Arizona Charlie's Las Vegas RV Park, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great "city" RV park. The sites are small and there is some city noise (not a lot). However, the park is clean, utilities are modern and industry standard, convenient location near local landmarks, decent casino on the property with good restaurants. Our only issue was the reduced hours of the laundry! We are planning to return. We camped at Arizona Charlie's Las Vegas RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Pueblo El Mirage RV Resort (55+ park), El Mirage, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful RV park and had wonderful weather when we stayed for February and March 2013. Reduced rates for monthly stays made it economical for us. Many activities and gorgeous facilities. Made some great friends and will return next year. The only criticisms I have are that the park is not pedestrian friendly, no tables at each site, and they lost our reservation but were able to take us anyway. We camped at Pueblo El Mirage RV Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Bushman's Camp, Bullard, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2012 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Park is in excellent shape with concrete pads and roads, good hookups, good facilities, and generally good asthetics. However, the sites are very small and very close together. A pull-through might be OK, but we had a back-in site for our 5th wheel and it was much too small. There was a paved pathway next to our site and the path was closer than our utilities! The road was very nice but narrow so there was no place to park the truck except in an empty campsite. When I hooked up to leave I could not do so without completely blocking the road for the entire time until I finished, and I could not pull out without running my truck front wheels onto the grass on the opposite side of the driveway and turning carefully past the camper there. I would not stay there again nor would I recommend it. We camped at Bushman's Camp in a Fifth Wheel.
