This park is tops in all that is important to us. Clean bathrooms, nice hot showers with hand held shower heads in handicapped. Excellent wifi! Level concrete pads with grass and picnic tables. Hate to give such high ratings because I don't want it to be harder to get our favorite place! Too late! Very popular place! Very nice staff!

JGW RV Park

This is our 4th stay at JGW RV park. It's one of our favorites because it's consistently clean, well maintained grounds, and toilets/showers are clean and good. Shower is roomy and has a hand held shower head with good water power. And we are able to reserve space close to bathroom. The setting on the Sacramento River is very nice, but we were disappointed that the swing viewing the river was missing. We were pleasantly surprised that they had cableTV once again. We didn't reserve longer because we didn't think they had cable. They had cancelled it the last three times we were there. Wifi, like most, inadequate to non existent. The park not that crowded, and we were right across from the router. And we tried many times throughout the day, early mornings, late at night. Very level concrete pads. Large sites. Easy access. Pool too cold to swim in and it was over 100 during the day.

Highlands RV Park

Good WiFi. Narrow but long asphalt sites. Cement pad for picnic table. Shower heads could be upgraded. Out of toilet paper one morning. My biggest beef is there was a group of seasoned RVers who constantly walked through occupied sites!! I think that is outrageous behavior. I excuse young people from doing that because maybe they weren't taught, but old timers especially with a group absolutely should not do it! It should be #1 in the rules at least as a reminder.

Yes, the layouts and park is superbly done, but it is very aggravating to come into an upscale park with bad Wi-Fi! It was not crowded. We were in the adult section. I tried at midnight and at 6 in the morning! Horrible. And Verizon difficult as well.

Everything was immaculate. Very clean. Nice outdoor patio. Very nice folks. Nice walking trails and disc golf. Very level site even though it was gravel. Lots of grass. Walmart about 4 miles away. Great wifi.

Wonderful little park. Lots of trees. Spacious sites with grass. Immaculate bathrooms. Wonderful and hospitable owners! A nice change and good place to relax after the crowded parks in the area. I love that they have a separate gate for ATVers. You can ride right out and enjoy!

Great value. PA rate. Very nice and accommodating owners. I like it when they explain the options of sites available. We were fortunate that it was not crowded. She put us in the best site for us!! Close to bathrooms and good wifi. I also like that when checking in, she gave us brochures and highlighted some attractions. Close to town and can walk to Lake Huron. I would plan a weekend visit because of the fireworks and farmers market. No cable TV, but got major channels with antennae. I like no keys or codes for internet access. Bathrooms were unattractive and rustic. But the one in the laundry room had lots of shelving for soaps and shampoos and towels, etc. Laundry was $2.

Rustic but clean bathrooms. Sandy grass . Limited WiFi. Site not level. Cable good. Nice layout and setting with trail.

Site 56 not level. Wi-Fi not so good. Cable TV good. Toilets and showers plentiful and clean. Nice lake . Nice setting. Sites close together and some shared areas depending if you back in or go forward. With no cell service, it would have been good to have totally consistent and reliable Wi-Fi.

Our site (#2) was right by the clubhouse and nice clean modern showers and toilets. Good number of both. Over-the-air TV had a great picture. Wi-Fi OK. We liked being by the pond because it was close to showers. Site not level. Did not have enough levelers. We expected Wi-Fi to be better. Park was pretty empty.

Date of Stay:

Sites not level. No cable. Wi-Fi OK. Rustic bathrooms. Clean, but no soap. No credit cards. Water connection far from our unit. Not a lot of options in the area.

Very welcoming check-in. We always ask for closest to toilets and showers. There were closer ones left unoccupied. Convenient to Bemidji and Paul Bunyan bike trail. Love the radio music in bathrooms. Shower was like needles--needs better shower heads, but appreciated the strength.. Nice campground setting. Very quiet.

This was one of our favorite campgrounds in the entire Great Lakes states. It is What RV camps should be. Very hospitable and helpful owners. Lots of grass. Lots of physical games and activities for kids. Free paddle boats. Cable TV good. Wi-Fi OK. It costs a dollar. Beautiful laundry facilities. Everything very clean. Only one shower but I never had a problem getting in when I wanted.

A very nice campground. Lots of wonderful trees so you don't feel so cramped like most KOAs. They should clean their picnic tables however. Pool was popular. Wi-Fi was the best KOA Wi-Fi we have ever experienced. Site was not level.
