Shell Lake Municipal Campground, Shell Lake, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground if you want to be on the water. Lake sites plenty wide and most long enough. Pull throughs have shade with big trees. Easy walk to downtown with couple good eating places and grocery store. We camped at Shell Lake Municipal Campground in a Motorhome.

Veterans Memorial County Park & Campground, West Salem, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Like this park for it's quiet location close to city of LaCrosse. Right on the bike trail. Quiet and relaxing. Most sites are grassy with plenty of space between. LaCrosse River runs through campground. We camped at Veterans Memorial County Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Riley Creek Campground (NPS Campground), Denali National Park, Alaska

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at Riley Creek for 3 nights. We were a little ahead of the crowds in Alaska so we had no trouble at all without reservations. Very nice NPS campground. Got to see moose in our campsite, not just in the campground, in our campsite. Very clean. Store prices a little high but then it is Alaska and took almost everything we needed. Would stay there again. We camped at Riley Creek Campground (NPS Campground) in a Motorhome.
