Magnolia Farms RV Park 2, Foley, Alabama

Date of Stay: February, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Newly opened park. Only 7 miles from Foley where you can find everything you want and 15 miles or so from the beaches. Excellent Wi-Fi, new club house, outstanding laundry facilities and spotless facilities. All grass pull through sites, landscaping and overall upkeep of the park is top notch. Owner was on site putting up fencing with the park manager/workamper - very helpful and cordial. This is a great place to stay for a quiet, peaceful break from the busy campgrounds found closer to the beaches. We will be back for a couple months next winter - "Bravo to the Owner and workampers". We camped at Magnolia Farms RV Park 2 in a Motorhome.

Stop here quite often in route to Florida. This is a very clean and well maintained campground. Sites are perfectly level. It is an easy stop off I-95. Close to outlet mall and great dining. No noise from I-95 that could be noticed. Great place to overnight. We camped at RVacation RV Park in a Motorhome.

Blue Angel Naval Recreation Area (Military FamCamp), Pensacola, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice facility - being active duty spouse it was very convenient to the base facilities - although just a small store on campground proper. The new sites now open are beautiful - hopefully they will keep the grounds up better than they do on the older part. Biggest complaint is they are getting rather pricey for a military installation - pushing $600 a month is rather steep. We camped at Blue Angel Naval Recreation Area (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Thousand Palms RV Resort, Lake Panasoffkee, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here when visiting relatives in the Villages. This is a very nice campground, a mix of campers and park models that mostly have snow birds. Park is very clean and the owners/workampers are superb. Soup day on Wednesdays is a treat. Two of the residents/workers do the cooking, and it is as good as any place to eat in town. Lots to do or just enjoy a walk in the adjacent acreage. A good drive to either town (shopping), but well worth the trip. We camped at Thousand Palms RV Resort in a Motorhome.
