Grand Casino Hinckley RV Resort, Hinckley, Minnesota

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful, clean park with good power and water pressure. Quiet and of course, with a free shuttle to the casino. We always stay here when we come through this way because there are never any bad surprises. We stayed here in our 43' rig and we will stay here again, I'm sure. We camped at Grand Casino Hinckley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Oakwood RV Park, Clear Lake, Iowa

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Wow! Nice people, nice park. No frills, but clean and well-kept. Great power and water pressure. They guided us to a 120' pull-through site since we were only there overnight and preferred to keep our towed hooked to our motorhome so it would be convenient for us. We would love an opportunity to stay there again! We camped at Oakwood RV Park in a Motorhome.

Oasis RV Park (CLOSED), South Haven, Kansas

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Though this is a small park, it is quiet and easy to get to from I-35. The power was great and the water pressure perfect. Though a little tight getting through in our 43' motorhome towing full-size SUV, we still were able to get around the park in and out. No one was on site until 5 PM, so we chose a site and parked and when the host arrived, he came and took care of the paperwork. We would gladly stay there again! We camped at Oasis RV Park (CLOSED) in a Motorhome.

Clean and well managed RV park right in Sparks. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Have a dog run for our four-legged children that was a beautiful mini-desert park. Relaxing to sit while the dogs do their thing. Great power and water pressure and conveniently located to anything you may need. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Death Valley Inn and RV Park (formerly Burro Inn Casino & RV Park), Beatty, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Good power and water pressure in a quiet and clean park. Managers are very friendly and helpful. Have use of the pool and spa at the inn. The pool was cooling even in the high heat of a desert summer. May see wild burros occasionally wander through the park but otherwise, it is peaceful staying here. Would stay here again. We camped at Death Valley Inn and RV Park (formerly Burro Inn Casino & RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Puyallup Fair Grounds, Puyallup, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Great power and water pressure. No restrooms or shower house. Very friendly and helpful campground host. Very strict with speed limit within the park to ensure no dust is stirred up on the gravel roads since the weather is conducive to open windows. Located right in town just behind the fairgrounds. We came for a three-day event, but stayed 16 days because it is perfect for where we are located. We will gladly stay here again. We camped at Puyallup Fair Grounds in a Motorhome.

Ellensburg KOA, Ellensburg, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly staff. Basic grounds with good power and water pressure. Due to being down in a valley, cell phone service was intermittent or unavailable. (Not an issue for the park - just good to know if you are staying there). We would likely stay again if in the area. We camped at Ellensburg KOA in a Motorhome.

Cam-Plex Multi Event Facilities (For Events Use Only), Gillette, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent power and water pressure here. Camping is on grassy hard-packed dirt. No issue getting in and out of the site unless there are very heavy rains right at the time that you are arriving or departing. We were here for two RV rallies and have found this convenient to the stores and restaurants in town. We would stay here again. We camped at Cam-Plex Multi Event Facilities (For Events Use Only) in a Motorhome.

Peter D's RV Park, Sheridan, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Good power and water pressure. Fantastic staff. Very close to I-90, but because the highway sits way up above, it is quiet and relaxing. Convenient to downtown Sheridan and less than 30 minutes to the Big Horn Mountains. Pastures and fields adjacent to RV park, so you have some great opportunities for wildlife viewing at dusk. Also, horses to watch in pasture next door. Large enclosed run for dogs, and another open area for well-behaved dogs. We loved it here and will go back if we have the opportunity. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Salt Lake City KOA, Salt Lake City, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Clean, neat park with good power and high water pressure. (Be sure to have a water restrictor when you stay here and use it!) Very restful stay and conveniently located to the attractions in the area. Note that the space was tight for our 43 ft. motorhome and tow vehicle so plan accordingly. We would stay here again. We camped at Salt Lake City KOA in a Motorhome.
