Scenic Park Campground, South Sioux City, Nebraska

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here in early March, when the weather was still pretty chilly. We arrived just as the office was closing. They gave us a nice site, and were very helpful. The restrooms were very clean. There are a lot of long term residents here. There is a chemical plant being built a few miles south of the campsite, so construction workers are staying in this campground. But the park was neat and clean, and we had no problems. We camped at Scenic Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Grandview Campground & RV Park, Hardin, Montana

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The sites were nice and level, and well landscaped. We saw a couple of cats, but no big deal. They didn't bother us and we didn't bother them. Kind of enjoyed watching them patrol the perimeter of the campground. The rest rooms are clean. The lady in the office was pleasant and helpful. I have stayed in several campgrounds in eastern MT and this is one of the nicer ones. We camped at Grandview Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Black Mesa State Park, Kenton, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed two days in Black Mesa State Park, but wish we could have stayed more. The park is beautiful. There was only one other occupied site. It was pleasant to hike the nature trail, do a bit of bicycling, and just relax. Your cell phone won't work, but there is Wi-Fi, at least near the park office. The skies were crystal clear, and there were lots of stars at night. Black Mesa State Park is an undiscovered gem for those who enjoy nature We camped at Black Mesa State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park), Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a week while we toured Santa Fe and the surrounding area. The hosts are very nice, and gave us lots of ideas of things to do and places to go, including the farmer's market where we scored excellent cheese, veggies, and meat. The park is very well maintained, and the showers are excellent -- hot and clean. Although it is on a busy street, the adobe wall provides noise buffering. Nice dog park in the back, and a good pet exercise area at the front of the park. We couldn't be happier with the park. We camped at Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park) in a Travel Trailer.
