Very clean park. Not very many long termers (2). Overall well cared for. When we had a vehicle problem, the manager went out of his way to help us get back on the road. Beautiful area. Some road noise, but the same at almost every other one in the area, enjoyed the train whistle!

Great place to stay if close to the four corners (probably the closest one). Plenty of sites, fairly clean, great customer service. Little tight in a few sites for big rigs. Stayed two nights to go see Cortez, nice little town.

Nice clean friendly place. Definitely the best campground in the area. Some long termers, but separated from short term. Huge wide sites. No grass, would have given a 10, but poor area for dogs. Shredded tires in dog park, and many dogs didn't like it. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

This park has exceptional customer service. They will help you anyway possible. The spots are pretty tight (stayed in a pull-through, in a motorhome with slides). It was quite tight. It is an older park, but well maintained. The pool was pretty cool for me, but being used quite a bit, so maybe it was just me? Would stay here again.

As noted many oilfield workers, but so is Every other RV park for miles. We got the last site. It was a double so person in front of us made us have to unhook to back out ( no huge biggie, pretend it was a back in). Facilities need updating badly, but money is pouring in right now with few using them. Another oilfield normal. Staff super friendly and helpful. Probably best park in town.

The sites were oddly laid out, but easily accessible by any size or configuration rig. Please note its about two hours from Marathon to campground, and over an hour once in the park. It is remote. Stars are awesome. Water, electric and sewer at every site. Laundry also open 24 hours if needed. Had a grew time, but whew. Hot.....

This is a nice little park right off the highway. very easy in and out, as well as parking. Obvious pride in the park and very well kept. Nice big area for dog walking. Many long term RVers, but not only is that normal anymore, they are very well kept spots. We will stay here again whenever we pass through.

Very plain park with no extras. Chances are you are passing through or seeing the pioneer museum (I highly suggest a visit, especially if you like cars! but it has something for everyone), so it will do fine. Pull through sites with pretty good room. Small stores close by. Very easy off and on highway.

The fee is based on "donation" and an iron ranger. (We always leave a good amount when they are allowing you the honor system). The campground had a few minor problems, just to be aware of. 30 amp only. Almost impossible to turn around if you go past the camping area; we had to unhook the toad. The sites (back-in) are pretty well laid out. The local police patrolled a few times, and overall a nice little park in a nice little town. Had a huge Nebraska storm blow through that night and the weather warnings on our phone were tested. No damage, though. This park has some very huge, very old trees standing there. Would definitely stay there if in the area again.

This park is OK for what it was designed for (mainly), an overniter when in Dallas area. We have stayed here when passing through DFW area a few times. There are many, many permanents or long termers, but the park is well kept and pretty clean overall. Book a premium site if you want plenty of room for pulling in and out. Not too many to choose from in the local area, but this one is probably the best. We have tried all of the others before. The RV wash is a very nice feature to clean the rig when leaving.

Rule number 1. Don't come to Cheyenne when frontier days are going on if you don't have reservations (didn't realize it was going on til we hit town). We were blessed in that they had setup extra "overflow" RV parking (a roped off field) so we found a place to stay. The campground seemed pretty well kept and , has a nice nature walk around it. The bugs were crazy, but that is not their fault! Would stay here again if in the area.

Would probably give this place a ten, but no shade at all, but it is Kansas. Well kept up, almost the only game in town, but a nice place overall. We stayed here during nothing going on, probably crazy when something is happening at the fairgrounds. Most sites are back-in, some can be pulled through if you have no one else in adjoining sites. Would stay here again. Lengthened our stay to two days instead of one to allow for sightseeing and visiting the salt mines. Also plenty of room to unhook closely as the area for "RV display" (State fair) is adjacent.

We stayed two nights here. Fairly close to town if necessities needed, our site had no shade, but others did...I "dropped in" on 5 July and got a site, so was not choosy. The person at the office desk was very nice, put us in a nice long pull thru and the stay was very nice. Would stay here again. The lake was almost red from recent rains, but not their fault. Seems to be well maintained overall.

I personally would not recommend this park to anybody. While there isn't too many in the area to choose from, do so. We stayed here one night while passing through DFW area, and will not stay here again. The sites need a lot of cleaning and work. The vast majority of the sites are long termers, and some very long term. The neighborhood did not make us comfortable and locals were milling around the park. The staff seemed friendly enough but easy to tell where their allegiance lies (with long termers). It seemed we were more of an inconvenience than a customer.

We stayed here two weeks and really enjoyed it. The place really "comes alive" during the weekends form locals, but quiets down during the weekdays. If it had sewer hookups and trees for shade, would be a definite 10 (can't have everything!). The sites are spaced out from each other and laid out nicely. Plenty of room for most any rig. Lots of spaces. 14 day limit strictly enforced so no long term visitors. We will be back, after going somewhere else for 14 days! Great views of the lake and awesome sunsets over the lakefront. Nice fire pits and BBQ smokers. Great picnic tables. Not too much for the kids to play on, but not applicable for us.
