It quite a pretty park. All personnel were friendly and helpful. In our Prarie loop, the sites were large and clean. The electrical outlets are quite far apart. Be very cautious about which one you book. If you do not have an extension cord, you may not find a good spot. We just barely made it. We had to move from the first spot as we old have need almost 50 feet if we wanted room to park the tow. Our sited needed to be mowed. Many were mowed, many needed it a couple of days ago. Wild flowers were beautiful. Beautiful! If you understand these limitations, you will enjoy the place. No WiFi but you are close enough to Starbucks.

Be careful on reservations. They did not take a credit card. When we got there, they had booked all the sites and the manager had put our name on the wrong date. They found a spot for us and took good care of us. Sites are clean and well maintained. Would not stay in site 30 again as it was not level. RF tire had to be boosted over four inches to get near level and the sewer connection was only about two inches below our connection on the Motorhome. Almost spilled some just disconnecting hose. Friendly staff and had popcorn waiting on us. Well kept area. Cable and WiFi worked very well. Store was well kept and had a few stocked items. We would certainly stay here again for overbite. Most of sites looked level and well planned.

This campground has a lot going well for it. It is very clean and well maintained. Each spot is raked and cleaned after the camper leaves. Hookups are well done and in the right location for a variety of units. We were in the front part of the CG and it seemed a bit less crowded than the River end. Water pressure was OK and cable did fine. Site was pretty level. They have a nice playground and pool plus a game room inside, outside bocci, basketball, and a clean laundry. For all those reasons the place would be a 9 or 10. Unfortunately, there are some negatives that caused me to rate them lower. Depending upon your needs these may, or may not, be an issue. When reserving online, we thought River front sites were available. At check in, we found there are no motor home slots at all. We had included that request in the notes but no one bothered to let us know. They just took our money and would not likely have refunded it if we were unhappy. The WiFi is awful. In four days we never managed to get a good connection. We even went into their hotspot area which did not help at all. I heard the same comments from three other campers. When we asked about it, the lady in the office looked at her computer and said, "it is working fine here, must be OK". Finally, the place was quiet at night but, during the day, neighbors felt the need to serenade us with their choices of music plus the poolside music could be heard. Country on one side and Classic Elvis on the other. It is difficult to sing along to two tunes. The hosts frequently patrolled the area and it did not seem to disturb them. I would stay in the front area again, my wife would not want to return. That's the story, as I see it.

A very nice mom & pop area with a dedicated area for overnighters or short termers. They have a small pool and a nice play area for children and a nice table/chair area for families. I understand they have some cookouts periodically. Laundry was sufficient and fairly priced. As weather was a bit poor and we got in late, the manager allowed my wife to stay after normal closing and lock the door as she left. We appreciate her doing that. Our site was level enough and services were good and well placed. We had several trees between us and the next RV. It is well cared for and maintained. It is no "resort" but is a great place for a night or two. For that reason, I gave it a 10.

This is a tough place to review. It has so much going for it but not everyone will fit there. Most spaces are tight so you'll need to make friends easily. We have a 35' motorhome and got a perfect spot with a great fireplace and decent view. Any larger MH would be some more problem. Max would be 38' in my opinion and that would be pushing it. We had neighbors but there was a tree blocking the view plus they were really nice people. It took a while to get level but we managed. Wi-Fi is fine with our WiFiRanger external antenna. No cable or OTA TV but that was fine for us. Hospitality is very good. They are pleasant and helpful. Mussels at night followed by campfire talk, talent show or local performers. Boat rides were planned but weather got in our way. The grounds are nicely taken care of. Bathrooms are just OK. They are kept very clean but they are small and tight. They plead for you to use very little water. As they are in the edge of nowhere, I am sure water is expensive and scarce at times. Be aware there is no on site sewer. To dump, you have to leave the park and pull alongside the side of the road to a pipe in the ground. It would be a major undertaking to dump mid camping trip. The surrounding area is beautiful. Not too many restaurants within 20 miles but there are enough available. It really is worth the effort to stay here. Best suited would be mid sized campers and fifth wheelers, small motor homes and vans and class C. Lots of tent spots. Lots of grass for kid play. Small playground.. If it fits your size, you may call it a "10".

Very nice, quiet park. Very near good food and good biking on the Confederation Trail. Our site was barely large enough for 35' MH but we made it. There were only a couple of sites that would take a larger unit. Many were seasonal campers in travel trailers or fifth wheelers. Everyone was quiet and respectful. Wifi was available at about $5/ day. We did not use it but reception was very good. Actually, the antennae was right at our site. FREE wifi is available at Georgetown library. If you catch them open, the will give you access for the time of your stay so you can park in front of the library to use 24 hours a day. Really nice lady in charge and she was a big help. Gate is manned 24 hours and all the attendants seemed very helpful. . We would stay there again if in this area of PEI. It is quiet and quaint but not our favorite. My rating was 7 for MH due to tight sites. Would be an 8 for other vehicles.

We enjoyed our stay here despite the bad weather from storm Arthur. Crew was very welcoming and made us feel welcome. There are quite a few seasonal units but all worked very well together. Everyone takes good care of their spaces. Our site required a bit of work to get level but we made it and we had enough room. Power initially was very low (30 amp) but came up in a few hours. If you can get the 50A go ahead and do so. We have had that problem in other sites. I have to say the crew works hard to keep the site up and does a good job. During the storm, they went their merry way with daily tasks. I was impressed. It would have been easy just to wait it out. Washrooms were clean but a bit old and could use some face lifting. They were satisfactory. Laundry was the same. As many CGs in Canada, the wash was cold water only. They do have propane but not for big tanks. Wifi was good, and free. Cable was $4/ night and was average at best. I don't know if the weather had any effect upon that. We would certainly stay there again over their competitor reviewed earlier in June though both were fine.

We really enjoyed ourselves here. The owners are very nice and run a good place. He is always around and takes care of people well. The site itself was adequate. They do a good job of spacing units so that you don't feel too close together. The grass is nice but the pock base was squishy making it very difficult to level to RV. Once I got it level, the ground settled overnight and we were a little out by morning. It was OK but could be overcome with a little work. Power started out fine but as the weekend came, bringing more guests, the voltage dropped enough to shut us down several times. It only happened one night for about four hours so it was not too bad. I brought it to the attention of the owner who explained the situation and promised to get it improved though there was nothing he could do that night. I believe he will have it handled. Hospitality was super. There are more seasonal than transient sites but the "locals" have been coming for years and love the place. Everything is well cared for. Even the locals were inquiring about where we were from and if all was going well. It is a nice place. I really waffled between an 8 and a 9 but decided upon the 9 just because we like the people there so much.

We were greeted in a very friendly manner and received a lot of good info about the local area (Don't miss the Tidal Bore). Asked for 30 amp service to save a couple of bucks and found it was same price as 50. Hmmm! Was told Wi-Fi was $5 for three days and we were just overnight so don't need it. They told me it was available free in the club house. Club house was small building furnished somewhat like a den with chairs and a desk. Did not try the Internet. Was led to a nice enough spot. No shade but well maintained. Plenty of trash cans and close to the adequate bath and laundry facility. It was level but the gravel tracks weren't all that well done. Grass was well maintained and electrical was fine. The campground is close to a good, not cheap, local grocery with good baked goods and fresh veggies, etc. We did not eat in the local area. As a one-nighter this place is fine. It appears they really have to do some work on the Wi-Fi. Other residents reported it as poor to spotty. We would stay overnight again but it is not like there is a lot of local choice. With Wi-Fi improvement it would be an 8, or even a 9 for overnight.

The spot are close together which could be a problem except the views and area are beautiful I would recommend you try it if in the area. It is on the "Sleepy" side of Acadian National Park and only a few minutes away. It is about an hour to the main site and Bar Harbor. All hookups are new and included in the price. No cable that I was aware of though I did not look or ask. We were too busy. Power is excellent and never gave us a problem. WiFI was very good for us. Not fast but it did never seem to have a problem. The managers are eager to help and keep the place spotless. There is not currently a bathroom or laundry. Roger is trying to work on that. All sites appear to be flat. As opposed to most parks, you'll be asked if you want the view to be out your front window or out your awning. That will depend upon the site and may mean pulling in forward or backing in. All part of the service.

We absolutely enjoyed everything about this park. Sure, it would be better with electric but, if you like base camping, this is a great place. The view of Casco Bay is wonderful. You can pull straight in so your windshield offers a great view. Sites are spacious and two sites share a trash can. The bath house is small but clean and well maintained. The camping area if separated from the day-use area and is family oriented. Several walking trails are available. The two cap host we encountered were quite friendly and helpful. They do have struck rules about generator use but they are fair and should be quite suitable. We would come back and spend a week here easily. It is a great spot to cruise the local area. If shopping is your thing, you are just 15, or so, minutes from Freeport with LL Bean, dozens of outlets and good food choices.

We really appreciate the clean and well equipped park. The sites are a bit close together but are well maintained on a regular basis. Lawns are mowed, bathrooms cleaned, and garbage picked up just as you would want it to be. Many sites are seasonal residents but that takes nothing from it. All units are clean and modern. I can't say enough good about the friendly staff and owners. They went out of their way to make this a nice place and intend upon keeping it that way. I certainly recommend your staying here for any amount of time your visit brings you this way. Unfortunately, the local area leaves a little to be desired. A bit shaggy in the beach areas and we were not impressed with eating choices. This Beach Rose is a 10, the local area is not.

Review on AllStays seemed nice so we booked an overnight stay on our trip. We were given alternate directions on phone because of low hanging trees on the GPS route. Thank goodness for that. Even with the improved directions we hit leaves and branches about seven times but no damage. The campground is in the middle of nowhere so would never use for an overnight again. When we arrived we were offered two spots to choose from. After a tight tour around the campground we went back to office as both were really not very level. The gentleman said to my wife, "Oh, you are in the ginormous rig." We are 35' feet, hardly ginormous in the motorhome world. He told her about a couple other sites, both of which were fine. We had a great night. Electrical (30 amp) was fine, water fine. Did not use sewer but hookup was convenient. The staff was quite nice though they should have warned about the lack of big rig facilities. Area was quite rural and very full with campers having a great time. Lots of four wheelers. Lots of families. Lots of long term residents. Several of the long termers had really improved their lots with decks and cookers and tables. If you are looking for a longer stay with a fifth wheel or a camper, this would really be nice - certainly a four or five. I could receive no Wi-Fi but did not ask about details. Bathrooms were older but pretty clean and adequate. We were really concerned about the noise from the carts and four Wheelers but by bedtime all was nice. Evening was quiet. There was even a wedding that day along with a reception. We walked by the area while to reception was going on and thought the music was a bit loud until we realized the door was open. When the door shut, we could barely hear it. I guess I have a bit of a problem with campgrounds that want to be everything to all people. They should have let us know about the tightness of the spots. Our slot was a pull-through but we had to back out to keep from running over short stumps. I guess that is why I chose a three instead of a four. We enjoyed the people and the place but the initial hassle was not worth it.

Plenty of room on the sites. Well taken care of. Very clean restrooms. Very quite considering it is just off the Pigeon Forge tourist area. I would not hesitate to stay here again . In fact, most other places should learn from this one. Internet was very good. Site was pretty level and had barely adequate parking for my Honda Fit. There were sites for larger units, just make sure you check ahead. ONE MAJOR complaint. The two week reservation cancellation policy is absurd and we would not have stayed if there had any doubt. We made reservations two nights before arriving. Many campgrounds are taking this attitude and will, overall, lose our business. I traveled on the road for very many years and never had something like that except during special event times.

We stayed one night in a 35' Class A with a tow. We fit in the space and we were level. All hook ups were easy and well located. We had a nice table outside though the wind was so strong we could barely stand up. The camp is plain with gravel sites and grass around sitting areas. The staff was very nice and welcoming. They obviously take pride in their business and appreciate those who stay with them. We would surely stay again. It is not a deluxe place but it is very comfortable. It is easy to get to and close to a good restaurant.
