Water Sports RV Park & Campground, Dodge City, Kansas

Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Just swung in here to spend the short evening with power hook-up only.

Not easy park to find and thought about turning away couple times.. dirt road and neighborhood is not appealing. Parked on grass surface between gravel paths in and out. We camped at Water Sports RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Worked for quick overnight stop, but would certainly try to arrange space elsewhere... but not sure there is better campground in the Dodge City area... will certainly try to find / reserve one next time.

Blue RV Park, Dodge City, Kansas

Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We had called ahead for a reservations... was told in very broken English that yes, they had pull through sites available for our 40" with hookups....

We arrived and was flabbergasted at how difficult it was to even find the rough potholed dirt entrance road... stopped at building at kind of top of entrance to try to find attendee of someone to talk to.... was concerned that I had entered an area that was a dead end .. walked down "roadway " to see if the road looped and would let me back out... spoke to only person I could find in upper level - he couldn't tell me much other than yes, I could follow the rough dirt path through the park and be able to get back out.... I could not find a single spot available for a motorhome but after looking around at the RVs in there, and the area, we left asap - dirt roadway was horrible, facilities and buildings looked horrible...... I would suggest this campground be avoided totally.... probably nuff said... We camped at Blue RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We were looking just for an overnight stay and just needed a safe place to stop with power..... but I suggest folks stay away until this place gets cleaned up, roads repaired, etc.....

Bella Terra RV Resort, Foley, Alabama

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice RV Resort. We camped here for a week + in 2013 and for 3 weeks this year. Facilities are excellent. Staff is exceptional. Location is near many beach options, Mobile, and Pensacola which gives numerous places to visit. Dining options are second to none. Only negative is that is is a bit pricy (supply and demand working ) and during spring breaks, Hwy 59 is busy. We camped at Bella Terra RV Resort in a Motorhome.
