Vernal / Dinosaurland KOA, Vernal, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Good Verizon and AT&T connectivity. Fairly good wifi (although it kept dropping the connection). DTV Satellite worked from our site (26) and cable was fairly broad selection. Park was attractive although lacked scenic views. Nice dog park, our site had concrete pad with table and fire pit. It was spacious with fence to separate the spaces. Lots of activities like pool, putt putt golf, play area for kids etc. Location was near town yet quiet. We camped at Vernal / Dinosaurland KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Very weak AT&T signal, OK Verizon and wifi was good although slow. Overpriced, but nice campground. They have lots of amenities. The waste pools can get to smelling bad when the wind if from the wrong direction. We camped at Yellowstone Park / West Entrance KOA in a Motorhome.

Henrys Lake State Park, Island Park, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Great place to stay. Good AT&T and Verizon signal. No wifi. Cleanest and nicest showers and restrooms I've ever seen. Views of the lake from every site. Most sites have just water and electric but a few have full hookups. Website reservation worked great. Really nice people run this place. We camped at Henrys Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

Only 10 miles from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. For the price this is a great place to stay and visit the park if you can't stay in the park.

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $77.00
Overall Rating:

Overpriced, but overall a nice campground. Was very busy but the staff was helpful, friendly, and kept the place clean. No AT&T signal. Some Verizon signal. Wifi was non-existent anywhere but at the office and even there it was very slow. We camped at St. Mary / East Glacier KOA in a Motorhome.

Pondera RV Park, Conrad, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly and nice staff. Adequate AT&T and Verizon signal along with a strong WIFI signal. Spaces are so close together there was no way we could put out our awning. Right in town, but very quiet. Good 50amp power, water and sewage connections. Two city parks nearby with "No pets allowed" signs posted. Nice for a one night stay. We camped at Pondera RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hoover RV Park, Hoover, Alabama

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here because of the location. It had very good Verizon and AT&T signal and the wifi was excellent. It is way overpriced for what you get. It is a paved parking lot with full hookups placed throughout. The utilities are in excellent shape although the sewer is high (hard to make it run uphill). The location at the ballpark is near shopping and easy access to the highway. Costco and Walmart both within a couple of miles as well. It was very hard to get a reservation as they didn't answer phone messages and only answered my third email. Checking in was a little strange as well. We camped at Hoover RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lakeside Travel Park, Tallahassee, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 2 nights to visit a friend who lives nearby. Park has lots of what looks like permanent residents who are not taking care of their sites. Talked to a few and they seemed nice enough. Verizon and AT&T signal was good, wifi was very poor. Power was adequate at my site. It was not easy to navigate a large motor home into our site. There is a big gator in the lake that according to the locals has eaten a couple of dogs. So beware going near it with small dogs. We camped at Lakeside Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Very tight turn for big rig getting into the park from the road. Nice people. Utilities all good. No cable. Nice little creek to look at from some sights. Some sights have grass, the one we had was all gravel. Good wifi connection. We camped at Shadrack Campground in a Motorhome.

Brook N Wood Family Campground, Elizaville, New York

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park. Nice people. Quiet, lots of stars in the sky. Good water, cable, and power. Sewer was fine no problems with hooking up. Nice large dog area. Laundry worked for $2 wash and $1 for 30 min dryer. Wifi was horrible. I work from the RV and it dropped me every few min so was not adequate. I had to use my Verizon and AT&T both of which had very poor signal strength. We camped at Brook N Wood Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Bass Lake RV Campground, Dillon, South Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed one night. Nice park. Nice people just off the highway and easy to find. It was easy access from heading north on 95 but I don't think I could have made the tight u turn needed from the south bound exit in my 40 ft motor home with tow. Only used electric and stayed one night. We camped at Bass Lake RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Campus Park & Ride, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $77.00
Overall Rating:

Basically this is a parking lot. The location is good (particularly good if you are wanting to be near the hospital as they provide a free shuttle). It is noisy with trains nearby and a highway also. No place but tarmac to walk a dog so not pet friendly. It is also quite expensive. On the good side, the people we dealt with were very friendly and helpful and it was easy to get downtown using the shuttle and a bus. We camped at Campus Park & Ride in a Motorhome.
