The park facility seemed to be in satisfactory condition at check in. There are small picnic tables and a bench at the sites. The sites are asphalt and fairly level. Water pressure was low. There are 20 or so channels on the cable connection. The wireless internet connection was present but very slow. The pool and spa are not open except in the middle of summer. Make sure to review the policies the campground has on the first night stay and the "boutique". There are no refunds and you are charged a large deposit immediately on booking. The staff seemed only interested that they have your money and if you bought something in their very overpriced store. Rules for the campground were enforced sporadically or not at all for some campers. Would not recommend this campground and would not return for any reason.

Wonderful state park. Sites in old section are sometimes a little hard to back in to with longer trailer. Take the tram to the beach or ride your bikes and park them in the bike rack. There is a wooden boardwalk over the dune. Biting flies are around the end of the boardwalk...but if you walk a ways from it, the beach is wonderful. We camp here as much as we can.

Stayed 3 nights over Labor Day weekend. Campground is large gravel parking area with full hook ups at each site. Sites seem level (as ours was) and had a view of the water. Small dog park. You do hear the trains on nearby track. Met by owners when checking in who were very nice and helpful. Will return when going to area again.

Great state park across US 90 from the beach. Campground has level sites and pull through sites. Great pool. Can park at beach pavilion without additional, with paid camping pass. Some sites off main road have sparse shade due to past fire. Overall, great place to camp and go to the beach.

Great camping on Lake Martin! One of the waterfront loops is under construction, but the rest of the park is well kept and has good facilities. Some sites are rather close together, but usually is not crowded.
