Rainbow's End - Escapees Rainbow Park, Livingston, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Rude is the only way to describe the park managers. We have stayed at most SKP parks throughout the United States and never found such rude people. The park is old, dated, dirty, not well kept. We will never return to this park!! We camped at Rainbow's End - Escapees Rainbow Park in a Motorhome.

Rainbow's End - Escapees Rainbow Park, Livingston, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

Noisy and not well kept. As members of the same club we expected a friendly greeting. The park managers were the rudest we've encountered in years of full time travel. The main part of the park and the care center have wonderful people and lots of activities. However, we would not return if it required dealing with these park managers. We camped at Rainbow's End - Escapees Rainbow Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Saltwater Farms Campground, Thomaston, Maine

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Great water views. Strange site buildups attempting to make level. Good location to explore the coast from Thomaston to Lincolnville. Difficult roads to get to the campground. We camped at Saltwater Farms Campground in a Motorhome.

Meadowbrook Camping Area, Phippsburg, Maine

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Tough to rate. One workcamper and the owner were extremely rude. Several other RV'ers claimed similar experiences. Other workcampers were friendly. The lobster dinner was great. Interior roads are very rough. Lots of dirt & dust all the time. We would not stay here again, but may come by for the lobster. We camped at Meadowbrook Camping Area in a Motorhome.

Lily Bay State Park, Greenville, Maine

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

This state park is pretty. The roads are quite rough getting to the park the last 5 to 6 miles. So rough that cabinets that never opened in three years did fly open. The sites are extremely tight for bigger rigs and more geared for tents and pop ups. This is a nice place to fish and hang out. We camped at Lily Bay State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Desert of Maine , Freeport, Maine

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The desert is an interesting place to visit. The park keeps a well stocked store and butterfly house. The interior road is tight and the electric service is barely adequate. The owners are friendly. The campground is not busy but there are regular tour groups of the desert. We camped at Desert of Maine in a Motorhome.

Palmyra Golf & RV Resort, Palmyra, Maine

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

In three years of full timing this is the cleanest, best kept cg I have stayed at. The owners, Rick & Linda, are very friendly and really want RV'ers to have an enjoyable stay. I will drive out of my way to return to this park. I stayed in a 5th wheel. The golf course is extremely well kept and a pleasure to walk whether you play or not. We camped at Palmyra Golf & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
