Motorcoach Country Club, Indio, California

Date of Stay: November, 2018 - $187.00
Overall Rating:

Simply beautiful. All sites are individually designed by their owners and the restaurant onsite is outstanding. We had a lobster dinner while we were there and it was great! The only downside is this park is not really very dog friendly. Most all the sites have signage warning dogs away, and there are just a few places you can take your dog. We camped at Motorcoach Country Club in a Motorhome.

Valencia Travel Village, Castaic, California

Date of Stay: November, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

This park used to be nice and clean. Once the baseball fields which are part of the park opened, the public now has access to the restrooms at one end of the park where the overnighters stay, and thus the cleanliness has deteriorated. The park is conveniently located, but the cleanliness and overall appearance has gone downhill over the last two years. Still good for an overnight location, and a home base for visiting the major city areas. We camped at Valencia Travel Village in a Motorhome.

Lost Hills RV Park (formerly Lost Hills Campground), Lost Hills, California

Date of Stay: November, 2018 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

The park was essentially open with no discernible outbuilding features. I understand it is in transition to a KOA. When we stayed the office was closed, and we called to receive our parking assignment. There is nothing here at the park other than full hookups and openness. Nearby there is a Pilot travel center, but nothing else. It was an easy on/off the freeway however. We camped at Lost Hills RV Park (formerly Lost Hills Campground) in a Motorhome.

Kit Fox RV Park, Patterson, California

Date of Stay: November, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

The park has excellent location with easy freeway on/off. It is also located within walking distance to some nice restaurants and gas stations. The downsides are poor rest rooms and the overall appearance of the park has been going down hill over the last two years. The park is still a great spot for an overnight when headed up or down the I-5. We camped at Kit Fox RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pacific Shores Motorcoach Resort (Formerly Outdoor Resorts), Newport, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $105.00
Overall Rating:

Outstanding experience! Wonderful service, beautiful ocean beach to explore with easy access. The sites are all individually owned and are part of the rental pool, so consequently many of the sites have been individualized with outdoor kitchens, etc... Our site had an ocean view and a small grassy area out back. The people are also very friendly and the facilities are spotless, with two pool areas a sauna, hot tubs, and great shower facilities. The dogs also love this place as there are many areas to explore on the property. Can't wait to return! We camped at Pacific Shores Motorcoach Resort (Formerly Outdoor Resorts) in a Motorhome.

Lake Siskiyou Beach and Camp, Mount Shasta, California

Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here before, but this time our site was one of the tightest in the park. We were so close to the site next to us that we could not use our awning, or sit on that side of the motorhome. There were open sites around us, but since our stay was short we decided to stick it out where we were. Overall the rest of the park and our visit was quite nice. We stayed at the lakeside section of the campground on this visit, and it was a very short walk to the lake. We would stay here again but will check over our site before settling in this time. Most of the sites seem nice, but their are some very tight ones crammed in there. We camped at Lake Siskiyou Beach and Camp in a Motorhome.
