Jamaica Beach RV Park, Galveston, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

If you like kitsch stay here. Kids will love this place. A pond, mini golf and even some alpacas. Very clean and well kept. Two great cafes within walking distance. Both had a great burger. Not much else close by but that is not always a bad thing. Beach right across the highway. Very friendly attitude. Highly recommend . We camped at Jamaica Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pontchartrain Landing, New Orleans, Louisiana

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Such a wonderful place. First class operation. Not in the best location but once you get there it feels safe and secure. Park staff efficient and friendly. Excellent BBQ joint with bar. Internet system needs upgrade. For the price of nightly rate it should have been better. Bathrooms around the outside were the best I have seen yet but they could have used a few more as they were always full. Shuttle cost $5; we assumed it was complementary . Outbound only runs at 10 am, 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm. Last shuttle leaves at 8 from New Orleans. A few more shuttles would have been convenient. Still a first class operation will stay here again. We camped at Pontchartrain Landing in a Motorhome.

Elvis Presley Blvd RV Park, Memphis, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Area is BAD. Housing projects overlook the campground. They advertised a nonexistent shuttle to Beale Street. Too scared to see what was inside bath house. Did however have excellent strong Internet as we only had to share with 10 other customers. Most looked to be permanent residents. Park needs a face lift , shuttle, and more info on Memphis , Graceland, and Beale Street. We camped at Elvis Presley Blvd RV Park in a Motorhome.
