Stagecoach Stop RV Resort, Rio Rancho, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Price reflects average nightly rate for stay in a premium site. The staff is accommodating, the grounds very clean and well maintained. The wifi was hit and miss. Didn't watch tv so can't comment on the cable. Quieter and safer location than most other parks in and around Albuquerque. Most sights are close together and only the premium sites have some shade and few of them. The pads are paved and level. I found the dog park to be clean unlike previous poster. Laundry is small but clean. I didn't rate higher on value because I do think the price is high for the amenities. We will definitely stay here any time we are in the area. We camped at Stagecoach Stop RV Resort in a Motorhome.

On The Beach RV Park, Port Aransas, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a very short walk from the beach. The stretch of beach near it is much less crowded as cars are not allowed to be parked by it. We walked to the beach in less than 5 minutes. The sites are tight and close. The park was built many years ago when RVs were smaller. Each site has a grassy area and it's own paved or bricked patio. The park was well landscaped and workers were seen every day doing work to keep it well maintained. I read the previous reviews. I did not find any of the complaints voiced previously. The Wi-Fi worked seamlessly. We were able to connect and stay connected with no problem. The managers were friendly and helpful. The laundry worked just fine and was clean. We didn't check out the bathhouse as we use our own facilities. We thoroughly enjoyed the laid back park and the laid back town. We will be back. We camped at On The Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bryce Canyon Pines, Bryce Canyon, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very dusty and unlevel. We were assigned a spot that was approximately two feet from another RV. The other RV was backed in and we had to drive in. It took lots of effort to level the RV and it was very dangerous to step out of the RV as the ground sloped significantly. We could not initially use the sewer as it was so far from where we had to park the RV to hook to the water and electric. We had to travel to another town to buy an adapter to hook two hoses together. Not all sites were that way but several were. Wi-Fi was useless. Would not stay here again. We camped at Bryce Canyon Pines in a Motorhome.

Mount Carmel Motel and RV, Mount Carmel, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small park very close to the highway. The sites were the closest to one another we have ever experienced. The entire section is gravel with the exception of the two sites closest to the highway; they have a grassy area adjacent. One of the sites was used for tenters. The site was separated from the highway by a row of small trees. The owner allows their dog to run loose and this area is apparently his bathroom. People using the site had to clean up after the dog. The dog even urinated on a tent. The location of the park is nice. The shade is great in the heat. We camped at Mount Carmel Motel and RV in a Motorhome.

Small, clean park. Helpful host. The water hydrants are very far away and are shared. Sites are paved but not level. Well shaded. Convenient location away from noise. Would definitely go back there. We camped at Binder Park in a Motorhome.

Palace Campgrounds, Galena, Illinois

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park is all there is in Galena. Even at that it is too highly priced for the lack of amenities. It is right off the highway but quiet. It's next door to Walmart. The sites are small and not level. Ticks are plentiful. Nothing is done to control them. We camped at Palace Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

Peaceful and convenient. No frills but clean, quiet, and comfortable. Views are beautiful as the name states. Large sites, inexpensive small laundry. The park is under new ownership. Owners live on site. They are visible and helpful. The location is perfect for visits to Branson and Eureka Springs. We camped at Ozark View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Big Cedar RV Park, Hodgen, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

We loved the location of this park. We ride a motorcycle for fun and came to ride the Talimena and the Indian Highway. The campground is perfectly located. Lots of ATV roads as well. The park is small and has no luxuries. However it is clean and quiet. It has a nice view of the mountains. It is under new ownership that started in February. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They live on property. We really enjoyed getting to know them. This will be our go-to place for this area. Rate reflects Passport America rate. We camped at Big Cedar RV Park in a Motorhome.
