This isn't a family friendly campground. No amenities for the little ones. But we stayed here because it is convenient and easy to get into. Some of the other campgrounds in the area are very difficult to get to. Sites aren't the best, but most are gravel with rotting decks or overgrown concrete patios. Good electric, water, and sewer hookups. Wi-Fi was OK. Several seasonals that were worrisome. Office is a mess and smells terrible. But I was only in there for a few minutes. We didn't go into the restrooms or laundry. We would go back because of the convenience.

Stayed in site 23. First pulled in and couldn't get level. Had to pull over. Turns out it was a good thing because there are wires low and directly overhead. If we didn't move, our satellite dish would have hit them. Very dangerous! Electric connection is an old type 50 amp, without a breaker. If there was wi-fi, they didn't give me the code. Trash is at the entrance ONLY. So when you leave, it won't be on the way out. Sites are sand/dirt with some weeds/grass. Very muddy with morning dew. Area is OK. Ate at the Cracker Barrel. Easy overnight off I-95.

We have used and loved this campground for years. Very clean. Great paved roads and the pull-thrus are concrete too. The back-ins are gravel but are very level and nice. We usually stay in the pull-thrus and get great Directv reception. They are full hookups, but we usually don't use the sewer connection. For some reason the pipe is sticking out of the ground quite a way up, so we wait and use the dump on the way out. A wonderful paved trail goes around the park's lake. Excellent online booking service at greatparks.org.

The place is huge. Has pool, lake, tennis, everything. I'm sure it's a happening place in summer but very poorly maintained. Big potholes in the very bad travel roads. Mostly occupied by seasonal and permanent residents that have old decrepit RVs and misc structures. The only WiFi is at the main office. Grass is overgrown and our site was loaded with dog poop. But there is a big field where we threw a ball for the dogs.

The people are great. they even offer to park it for you. I wouldn't stay in the sites up front next time (#4 this time). The road is very busy and loud. But the river is pretty across the road.

Really a great little campground. We would stay here again. Very convenient and clean.

For this much money, this place is bad. You can see where the profits aren't going to. The lodge has cable, but they didn't run it to the sites, and there aren't any over the air channels. WiFi is passable. Most sites are very unlevel. And the gravel and the sites are narrow, so you are living on a small strip of grass that has seen better days (mostly mud). I do like the paved streets though. If it was cheaper, like $25 for full hookups, I would have given it a higher score.

Fairly well maintained. Clean and level. But a word of advice. Don't spend the extra $4 per night for the stream sites. The stream is very small and covered in weeds. Cable TV is good, but Internet is spotty.

Really a great campground. All gravel on the site. A bit of trash around. Hosts were wonderful and very helpful. Unless you fish, boat or hunt there isn't a lot to do. But the beach at the camp was very nice. And we went to the bison/elk prairie and the old time dam, Homestead. Those were great. Signage is very bad, so watch your GPS or map. Mosquitoes, etc. were bad, but they've had a lot of rain, so it was expected. We would come back.

Big sites. It is very clean. Site 19 has a nice view of the lake. I did have problems with the water hookup. It wouldn't stop leaking. I tried everything (yes, my washer was the first thing I checked). We went exploring to see the two other campgrounds. This was the best for quiet, big sites with nice views. But the other two are superior also. Shopping, etc is just a few miles away. They said that had Wi-Fi, but it isn't reliable. I had great cell phone service though, so I created my own hotspot. We didn't get any TV. Oh, well.
