Country Gardens RV Park, Odessa, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We didn't have the concrete premium site, but ours was a PT and very long. Good level gravel. A no frills park that is great for an overnight. Only drawback is the highway noise. I love that they pickup garbage at site. But someone before us left there garbage bag and the management didn't pick it up. Roads are not the greatest, but they are paved, just chipped up. Nicely kept grass. A decent dog park. We got satellite easily. We camped at Country Gardens RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Atlanta South RV Resort , Mcdonough, Georgia

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We've stayed here before. Didn't like it then. I wouldn't ever stay more than one night. It's extremely crowded and cramped. Pull-throughs are easy. Since it's on a hill, each site is higher that the next. Therefore they have a concrete retaining wall of about 1' between. Be careful, as you can easily fall. Utilities are good and easy. We camped at Atlanta South RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Casey Jones RV Park, Lake City, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Site 3. Good entry road. Go to light to turn off SR47 at Shell station. Very sandy site, and then It rained and was a mess. Electric was a problem. We had 50 amp, but the circuit broke 3 times, twice was running just one AC. We've never had a problem before. So I don't think we were causing it. Since it happened at night I think they reduce something. Therefore, we won't be back, even for one night as my honey refuses to get up again in the middle of the night to throw their breaker. We camped at Casey Jones RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Woodland RV Park, Libby, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Very well maintained campground. Site 14 was level. Utilities very good, but on this site the water is on RV door side. Verizon 3 bars. ATT 3G only. The pine trees drop a lot of sap. Landscaping and cleanliness was great. Good roads, easy to navigate. We did get satellite but most sites wouldn't. We camped at Woodland RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Travel America RV Park, Sagle, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This a no frills campsite. All dirt and grass. The site is so trampled. Water pressure was great. Sewer hole is a bit hug and doesn't have any threads. Electric was fine. Neighbors were quiet and no road noise. Trains pass, but it wasn't terrible. The trees are very overgrown. We had to decline several possible sites because of overhead tree branches. The site we ended up on had a dead tree. So it was ok. Why wouldn't they replace a dead tree! Overall was OK. We camped at Travel America RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Priest Lake Lodge, Nordman, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 3 nights. Water pressure was bad, but it might be because we were sharing with an old, dilapidated mobile home next door. No wifi, no cell (ATT or VZ). The one good thing was a large grass area in the middle of the park.

Our site (21) was disgusting. They never clean. There was old toilet paper and other unknown things on the ground near the sewer hole. An old rag left on a boulder. No picnic tables.

Worse was both Saturday and Sunday nights were loud party nights: 1:30-2am each night. Loud!!! Also, there aren't any fire rings, but as the area was under 'no open fire' restrictions, they wouldn't be necessary. However, that didn't stop a bonfire party 3 sites down. We will never be back. We camped at Priest Lake Lodge in a Fifth Wheel.

Salt Lake City KOA, Salt Lake City, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground. We had a patio. The roads are paved and in great condition. Very convenient to all of the sights of SLC. Utilities were great, except the WiFi, which is taxed to its max. We did get satellite reception, but most sites will not. We camped at Salt Lake City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Santa Fe Skies RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Overall Rating:

This place is awesome. Love the walking trail. Yes, we are close to each other but I didn't mind it a bit. Utilities are excellent. Site level front to back but drivers side was a bit low. Love the concrete patios. Satellite reception excellent. Wonderful sculptures around the park. We will be back. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tallahassee East Campground , Monticello, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Nice staff. But the place is trashy. Roads are decent, made of a black gravel. But everything else is dirt and grass. Sewer inlet is same level as our outlet, so dumping was a challenge. Why do parks make our lives more difficult? Noise wasn't too bad as the site was in the back. Site could get satellite. We camped at Tallahassee East Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Old Forge Camping Resort, Old Forge, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

We were in the best site in the campground, number 374. It was newly graveled, and appeared to be the only one that wasn't all dirt. I was very happy that we got it, as I hate to live on dirt. That being said, we noticed that sites are raked and cleaned before each new camper.

The site is on the small lake, that is quite beautiful. The sites are heavily wooded (no satellite reception).

NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO RUN THE A/C! And if you do, it has to be on your own generator, not during quiet hours. Thank goodness it was cool while we were there. But after we left, temps jumped up into the 90s. We would have been miserable.

The camp store is big and full of stuff. Staff is great. We camped at Old Forge Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Thornbush Acres, Indian Lake, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for 3 nights while exploring the Adirondacks. Some seasonals here and it isn't pleasant to look at their sites. And we weren't comfortable with the safety factor.

They are creating more sites, so the construction equipment and mess is apparent.

Didn't use the restrooms, but the outside condition of the building didn't bode well for the inside.

They charge for electric usage by metering.

WiFi was terrible.

It is OK for a few days, but we wouldn't come back. We camped at Thornbush Acres in a Fifth Wheel.

Vanderpool Campground, Vilas, North Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This isn't a family friendly campground. No amenities for the little ones. But we stayed here because it is convenient and easy to get into. Some of the other campgrounds in the area are very difficult to get to.

Sites aren't the best, but most are gravel with rotting decks or overgrown concrete patios. Good electric, water, and sewer hookups. Wi-Fi was OK.

Several seasonals that were worrisome.

Office is a mess and smells terrible. But I was only in there for a few minutes.

We didn't go into the restrooms or laundry.

We would go back because of the convenience. We camped at Vanderpool Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

New Green Acres RV Park , Walterboro, South Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed in site 23. First pulled in and couldn't get level. Had to pull over. Turns out it was a good thing because there are wires low and directly overhead. If we didn't move, our satellite dish would have hit them. Very dangerous!
Electric connection is an old type 50 amp, without a breaker.
If there was wi-fi, they didn't give me the code.
Trash is at the entrance ONLY. So when you leave, it won't be on the way out.
Sites are sand/dirt with some weeds/grass. Very muddy with morning dew.
Area is OK. Ate at the Cracker Barrel. Easy overnight off I-95. We camped at New Green Acres RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
