R Shaefer Heard COE, West Point, Georgia

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

This park is one of the nicest COE parks we've visited. Clean. Sites are very private, for the most part. Most have nice lake views. Many are shaded. Double sided dump station. We were on #98 which had no shade but was very close to the water with a 180 degree view. Since it wasn't a hot day, it didn't matter about the shade. The sunset across the lake was beautiful. We intend to stay here whenever we are in the area or passing through. We camped at R Shaefer Heard COE in a Motorhome.

All About Relaxing RV Park, Theodore, Alabama

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Too bad we were on an overnight stay only. Very clean. Nicely decorated for fall. Escorted to our site where a personal welcome sign awaited. Didn't use the restrooms etc but would expect them to be spotless like the rest of the place. Pool was inviting. Spaces a little closer than we prefer but so nice otherwise! Welcome gift: jar of Amish Traffic Jam (jam) We camped at All About Relaxing RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pandion Ridge Luxury RV Resort, Orange Beach, Alabama

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Spanking new park. Large, clean concrete pads with decorative hookup stations that have a nightlight...nice! Didn't use the pool or hot tub but they looked clean and inviting. Spaces are good sized but not much privacy until the newly planted trees grow. Curbside trash pickup. Quiet. Sites along pine forest on the outside row of the park look perfect as the trees block the hot morning sun. We'll be back! We camped at Pandion Ridge Luxury RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Talladega Creekside Resort, Talladega, Alabama

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Small campground with mostly permanent or longterm units. Very hard to find at night. Dogs run free, bark, and leave their deposits which we encountered in the dark. It took awhile to clean up the mess we tracked into our place. Loud music woke me up 11 PM, neighbors woke me up 6 AM talking loudly while they took 15 minutes to get in their cars and leave. The owner was very friendly but we would not stay here again. We camped at Talladega Creekside Resort in a Motorhome.

Small, clean. Sites are big enough. Light traffic noise - it's located at a "Y" of country roads. We slept with windows open. We camped at Rocky's Convenience Store & Campground in a Motorhome.

Cherry Hill Park, College Park, Maryland

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

Closest park for our DC touring activities. Clean. At junction of I-95 and I-495 so some distant road noise. Daily educational session on traveling around DC on the Metro, suggestions for restaurants, other hints. Nice. The Metro bus does stop at the campground and after a 20 minute ride, does stop at the College Park Metro stop. Be aware though that waiting for the next bus or next train will make your trip into town longer. We averaged 1.5 hours each way. Still convenience overrode the length of time. Office staff very helpful and plenty of staff to handle the volume of campers there. We camped at Cherry Hill Park in a Motorhome.

Merchants Millpond State Park, Gatesville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $15.00

Level private site. Small narrow entrance to site over a culvert. This might be a problem for a larger motorhome. Most sites not for big rigs. We camped at Merchants Millpond State Park in a Motorhome.

Oak Hollow Family Campground, High Point, North Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Lucky to get a site as "Mart" was in town. The site we got in Section A was private but unlevel. We didn't hook up as water connection was shared with neighboring site and our hoses weren't long enough to reach it. We camped at Oak Hollow Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Bay Breeze RV On The Bay, Gulf Shores, Alabama

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This park is paradise on the bay. Lovely setting. Long dock, happy color wooden rockers and benches provide a place to enjoy your morning coffee or watch the sunset. Friendly owners and neighbors. Peeked in laundry which was clean but machines had rusty spots. Its difficult to maintain anything on the coast so if they worked, I'd have no problem with how they looked.. We will definitely be back. We camped at Bay Breeze RV On The Bay in a Motorhome.

Clean and neat. Sites well spaced. Excellent Wi-Fi. Didn't use restrooms or laundry but walked by and they were clean; would not hesitate to use them if needed. Close to outlet mall and other activities we were involved in. We camped at Stagecoach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Warfield Point Park, Greenville, Mississippi

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $6.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful location! Right on the Mississippi River. Many large trees. Only a few others here on a Wednesday night. No one was at the entrance gate the afternoon we pulled in nor when we left in the morning even though the sign said it was office hours. So we couldn't find anyone to give our money to. I think they honor Senior pass so it wouldn't have been much. Seemed safe here. Closeby Greenville MS is another story. Be careful. We camped at Warfield Point Park in a Motorhome.

We have no kids but there were several areas of the park that looked great for their entertainment. We have no pets but saw a dog area, fenced. Strong Wi-Fi at site behind office. Laundry room was clean. Whole park neat and clean. Off interstate so quiet. Friendly folks. We camped at Goodland KOA in a Motorhome.

Snake River RV Park & Campground, Idaho Falls, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Pleasant well kept park. The sites close to the road are probably noisy but we were in the part behind the office; it was quiet. A few permanent sites, some well kept, some not. Good Wi-Fi and nice to have electric for A/C on a hot day. Pleasant office staff. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
