Rogue Valley Overniters RV, Grants Pass, Oregon

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a good sized "In Town" RV park - perfect for overnighters. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Despite being very much in town, the park was very quiet at night. The pull through sited was plenty large for our 38', 5th wheel and truck. Utilities were well placed and worked as advertised. The restrooms were clean and serviceable, but were not exactly new or modern - good enough to get clean, however. This is not a resort by any means, but is a great place to stop for a night or two. We camped at Rogue Valley Overniters RV in a Fifth Wheel.

Portland Fairview RV Park, Fairview, Oregon

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a fairly large park with excellent big rig accommodations and easy access. The sites are paved, narrow, and not long enough to accommodate a 38' 5th wheel, plus the truck (had to park the truck in an adjacent vacant site (no worries). The showers and restrooms were good, but not great (had higher expectations for this modern facility). The park was very quite and the staff friendly and helpful. The utilities were easily accessed and worked as advertised. We would definitely stay there again. Note - Not exactly sure on the rate paid. We camped at Portland Fairview RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Camp Blanco RV Park, Port Orford, Oregon

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great little park that can handle big rigs. The owner greeted us while we were still in our truck (pulling a 5th wheel) and personally escorted us to our pull through site (nicely shaded). We went exploring after registering and returned to find a welcome basket on our doorstep filled with goodies and information of things to do in the area (we had already gotten recommendations from the owner that turned out to be spot on - we had a great afternoon exploring!!) The sites are not overly wide but sufficient and in our case plenty long. The utilities are where they should be and worked perfectly. The restroom is small, not modern, but fully adequate and very CLEAN! Even thought the lot is next to 101, we found it to be very quite and peaceful at night-no trouble sleeping. The is not the place to go if you are looking for pools, saunas, playgrounds and the like. It is just a great little place to enjoy your stay in the area. Note - I do not remember the nightly rate exactly. We camped at Camp Blanco RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
