Fries New River Trail RV Park, Fries, Virginia

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

I would stay here for no other reason than to stay here! Friendly, immaculate, quiet, great wifi, great cable, tasty muffin. We were there was for hiking and biking. The scenery is beautiful and the activities are very nice. The town of Fries is in sad shape, but, even so, it is clean and friendly. Verizon almost works, AT&T doesn't. That said, the wifi was so good, we were able to call family and friends with Facebook Messenger, .and Google Talk. The RV spaces are very large and level. Lots of healthy deer to watch. We camped at Fries New River Trail RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

McCall RV Resort, McCall, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

I love this park! Owned by G-7, run by happy, helpful people who are always around to help, offer advise, or answer questions.

Everything is immaculately! The covered pool is so nice for the swimmer and for noise reduction throughout the park. The RV spaces are wide. Garbage is collected from your site quickly. The plants and flowers look healthy. It is located close enough to town and far enough away that campers can relax outside and enjoy the quiet.

They escort you to your site and make sure everything is satisfactory before leaving.

There are cabins as well which makes it a good meeting place. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Deer Lake Resort, Loon Lake, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Party down! Do anything you want, as loud as you want, whenever you want!! I asked before booking a site if they have quiet time and is it enforced, they said 10pm and yes. They were just teasing. They are nice people, but they do not have control over their park.

Full service, very tight spaces. Good Internet. Right on the lake with fishing, swimming, boating.

If you like to party loud and long, come here. We camped at Deer Lake Resort in a Travel Trailer.

LEVEL sights, friendly greeting, great rate for full hookup and cable TV. Enclosed dog run. Easy access to freeway, situated so that road noise is minimal. Garbage bins easily to find. Pleasant owner escorted us to site, made sure everything was good and gave the dogs goodies. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Shady Lakes Camping & Recreation, New Windsor, Illinois

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Pluses: no highway noise, quiet, full hook up, level spot, friendly staff. Good for one night. Negatives: very little gravel, lots of mud. Water faucet serves 4 sites, needed extra long hose, on the wrong side. Narrow sites. Free internet at office, otherwise pay. We were close to office and were able to get it. We camped at Shady Lakes Camping & Recreation in a Travel Trailer.

Homerville KOA (formerly Wild Wood Lakes), Homerville, Ohio

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful park, nice quiet location. Staff was very friendly. Over air TV was OK. Pretty level sight. Good for a few days. The negatives were poor internet reception, only at the office. The trash containers were located outside the park. We clean up after our dogs and like to keep our RV clean. There is a loud pump that runs all night. We camped at Homerville KOA (formerly Wild Wood Lakes) in a Travel Trailer.
