South of the Border, Dillon, South Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Really a nice place to stay. We did not like our first site so they gave us another. Lots of grass to walk our cats. Trailer Life directory said the sites were 15 feet wide but they seemed much wider. Lots of room, and we had rigs on both sides. Plenty of room to move around with our 35 foot rig. Would stop there again. Price was right, too. We camped at South of the Border in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice grassy sites with several ducks wandering around. Wear shoes. Sites easy to get in and out. Restrooms are good, but it was too cold for the pool. Close to Charleston. We camped at Oak Plantation Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Not exactly a resort but it was OK. Plenty of room to maneuver where we were parked. We had electrical problems and they fixed it right away. Pool was not open, too cold. Good security. We camped at Savannah Oaks RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Williston Crossings RV Resort, Williston, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park with lots of room to maneuver around. We were in the new section and the Wi-Fi and cable were not hooked up, and the restrooms back there was not ready yet either. In spite of the work being done, it was an enjoyable place to be. Would go back any time. We camped at Williston Crossings RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Hidden River Travel Resort, Riverview, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2013 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed there a month. This an old park with a lot of older park models. Several of them rundown. Nice warm pool and nice restrooms. People and employees were all nice and friendly. I was parked in an older section which had narrow streets and it was rather difficult to get in the site. It was much more difficult to get out with my 35-foot RV because of the narrow street, low hanging tree limbs, and tight corners. There were better places to park but we did not know it at check-in. We camped at Hidden River Travel Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
