We have stayed at this RV park a couple of times. Lots of oil field workers. The park appears to be getting more run down. If we stay again, we will ask to be up front by the office instead of in the middle of the workers. Very early risers to get to work. Could not pick up any TV stations (did not hook up satellite since we were only staying one night). Would stay again but only up by office.

We have stayed here twice. Very clean. Very friendly. Pet friendly. Wi-Fi easy to connect, too. Will stay again if in the area.

All spots were gravel and grass. Fairly level spots. Nice area centrally located for sightseeing. Pet friendly. Needs more laundry facilities. 1 washer and 1 dryer. Was directed to a laundry facility in town which turned out to be very expensive. $2.29 or $3.39 per washer. $.39 per 15 mins drying time. Would stay here again but find different laundry facilities.

Stayed here while exploring Dayton Beach area. We choose this park because it is a Passport America Park. Staff was very friendly. All the lots had concrete pads and were level. It appeared some RV's were "stored" there. Could not use the laundry facilities as door needed a code and we were not given one. Would stay here again. Centrally located to everything.

We came to Avalon RV Resort to meet up with some friends and visit for a couple of days., however, extended our stay twice. Purchased a motorhome from Harberson RV. Laundry facilities could use some updating. Lots of winter snow birds. All the staff was very friendly and helpful! Started our stay in a fifth wheel but moved to a motorhome. No,problems whatsoever during the stay or with the change over. Would definitely stay here again! May try another trip next year.

Stayed here for one night on our way to Clearwater, FL. Spots were level. Beautiful grounds. Would definitely stay again.

Was concerned about the area of town the New Orleans West KOA was located in, however, it turned out to not be an issue at all. Felt very safe walking over to,the levee and around town a bit. Fairly level spaces. Tight backing in. Our major complaint was that we were not able to be next to our cousins whom we were traveling with. First was told it needed to be noted in the note area of reservation, was able to,show that it was listed that we were traveling together, the story changed that we needed to state specifically we wanted to placed together. Other than this inconvenience, we would stay here again but be more specific if traveling with others
