Walnut Meadow RV Park, Berea, Kentucky

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We spent 3 nights here exploring the great town of Berea. Not the best park but it was quiet. No sewer & dump station does not have water. No wifi. Worker met us and directed us to our spot. Pull thru sites. Only water & electric. Full hooks with sewer were all full with what appears to be full time residents. Same rate with or without sewer. Not sure we'd stay here again. Looks rough all around. Needs a good grooming. We stayed in a motorhome. We camped at Walnut Meadow RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sterling State Park, Monroe, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in 2 different spots due to a change in plans. The 1st was awesome. The 2nd not level at all. The biggest complaint was allowing tents to reserve full hookup sites. That should be forbidden. Looked like some people had been there long pass the max limit. Sites were cluttered and messy!!! Need more than 1 trash dump. More ranger patrols! We camped at Sterling State Park in a Motorhome.

Alpena County Fairgrounds, Alpena, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here the middle of July. It got pretty hot. It was the week before the fishing tournament. Pretty quiet until thurs when the fishermen came for the tournament. Rather than back in we nosed in so we could look out at Lake Thunderbay, a Nature Preserve. Only had electric hookup but dump station & potable water was available. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. We camped at Alpena County Fairgrounds in a Motorhome.

Tra-Park RV Park - Escapees Rainbow Park, Pecos, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2014 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at this RV park a couple of times. Lots of oil field workers. The park appears to be getting more run down. If we stay again, we will ask to be up front by the office instead of in the middle of the workers. Very early risers to get to work. Could not pick up any TV stations (did not hook up satellite since we were only staying one night). Would stay again but only up by office. We camped at Tra-Park RV Park - Escapees Rainbow Park in a Motorhome.

Red Gate Campground & RV Resort, Savannah, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

All spots were gravel and grass. Fairly level spots. Nice area centrally located for sightseeing. Pet friendly. Needs more laundry facilities. 1 washer and 1 dryer. Was directed to a laundry facility in town which turned out to be very expensive. $2.29 or $3.39 per washer. $.39 per 15 mins drying time. Would stay here again but find different laundry facilities. We camped at Red Gate Campground & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

International RV Park & Campground, Daytona Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here while exploring Dayton Beach area. We choose this park because it is a Passport America Park. Staff was very friendly. All the lots had concrete pads and were level. It appeared some RV's were "stored" there. Could not use the laundry facilities as door needed a code and we were not given one. Would stay here again. Centrally located to everything. We camped at International RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

New Orleans West KOA, River Ridge, Louisiana

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Was concerned about the area of town the New Orleans West KOA was located in, however, it turned out to not be an issue at all. Felt very safe walking over to,the levee and around town a bit. Fairly level spaces. Tight backing in. Our major complaint was that we were not able to be next to our cousins whom we were traveling with. First was told it needed to be noted in the note area of reservation, was able to,show that it was listed that we were traveling together, the story changed that we needed to state specifically we wanted to placed together. Other than this inconvenience, we would stay here again but be more specific if traveling with others We camped at New Orleans West KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
